Choco-nana Oats

Happy Wednesday! 😀

So today’s breakfast was back to oats because I was feelin a little chilly this morning and needed some warm gooey goodness to get me goin!  I was all set to use some pumpkin in my oats but decided last minute to switch over and add some chocolate protein powder.  Who wouldn’t love to start out their morning with chocolate, right? 😛

In today’s mix was:

-1/3 cup oats

-1/3 cup light vanilla soy milk

-<1/3 cup water

-1 small smashed banana

-1 small scoop chocolate protein powder

-1/4 cup frozen blueberries

I wasn’t sure how I felt about the chocolate at first, but the final verdict was too thumbs up!  I actually really liked the flavor of the chocolate mixed with the blueberries and banana.  I think I’d do this one again!

Along with my oats I’ll be having an iced coffee with skim milk on my way to work.  Judging by the weather, looks like I better enjoy it, since I’ll probably be back to hot coffee for the rest of the week. (rain = gross).
