Grazin' Along

So let’s get a quick recap on the rest of yesterday!  Boy I’ll tell ya, sometimes the day just gets away from you doesn’t it?  Sorry ’bout that!  So my Coffee Friday was wonderful.  I went with hazelnut today, and it never fails me!  I was originally thinking iced, but my fingers were a-frozen in the mornin!

Yes, I know it looks like I was driving, but I swear I was stopped at a light and NOT moving!!

So yesterday I pretty much grazed all day long and hadn’t thought to take photos throughout the day.  But, luckily for you, I had the same foods at home so I staged a photo-op when I got home.

Around 12:30 I had some carrots & celery with hummus and a yogurt.  About an hour later I had an orange that was leftover from yesterday’s lunch.  Then after work, before the gym, I needed something else in me to keep from getting famished mid-workout, so I heated up some OATS!

Instant oats really don’t compare to old fashioned oats, but this one was pretty good!  AND it kept me satisfied throughout my workout, which was exactly what I was looking for.  Yesterday’s workout included a 3.15 mile run before doing BodyPump.  I don’t know WHAT happened with my socks, but I ended up with some GROSS blisters underneath my big toes!  It’s SO uncomfortable now!  GRRRRR >:-(

Dinner was totally boring last night.  Jay had eaten a late lunch so he wasn’t really hungry for dinner; while I, on the other hand, was ready to eat my left arm off!  So I decided to just grab something as quick as I could (to save my arm if nothing else!) 😉  My quick decisions left me with a Bruschetta Boca burger on an Arnold’s sandwich thin with spinach, tomatoes, and a lil ketchup & mustard.

After eating, we ended up going out and meeting up with our friends, Joe & Marietta, for a couple drinks and to watch some of the Mets game at The Recovery Room in Troy.  I wasn’t planning on having anything to drink, but ended up having 2 Bud Lights while I was there.  They were a tasty way to end the workweek! :)

I have a super fun-filled Saturday ahead of me, starting with a Starbucks breakfast date with one of my best friends, Heather! 😀

I notice you have also had the Morningstar Garden Veggie Patties! How do the Boca’s compare? I have a coupon, so I was wanting to try them out. I really like the Morningstar though!

I’d have to say I enjoy them both equally! Although, I do really like the Bruschetta Tomato Basil Parmesan Boca veggie patty. YUM! :)
