Good Morning! I was up ‘n at em bright and early this morning to try to get my workout in early since my afternoon my include some visitors! :) Boy, I’ll tell ya, I really have a love-hate relationship with early morning workouts. For the first 15 minutes of getting up or attempting to get up, I hate them! But then, once I’m up and moving, and especially once I’m finished, I feel like a million bucks! And best of all, I’m DONE for the day and don’t have to worry about showering again, etc. I can just come home from work and relax! :) This morning’s workout consisted of a 3 mile interval run on the treadmill. The legs were a little sluggish, but I kept truckin’ along!
After being so WARM this morning after my sweaty workout, I knew I wanted something COLD for breakfast. First thought – GREEN MONSTER!
Today’s Green Monster was the same as the previous one I made, so if you want to check out the ingredients, check out this post! I was feeling famished after the run and getting ready, so I also made myself half an Arnold sandwich thin with peanut butter & raisins. The “monster” is doin’ it for me right now, so I think I’m going to bring it to work with me for a mid-morning snack.
Mmmmm, delicious! I really wish I could get Jay to try this, because I truly do think he’d love it! However, he is completely GROSSED OUT by the green color & idea of spinach in a smoothie. Any suggestions on how to get him cave??
I snapped a couple photos of today’s lunch last night while I was making it (yes, I was on top of my game last night!)
Vanilla flavored Chobani (ahh, how I love my Chobani! It’s been so long!) with fresh sliced strawberries and granola. Also included is some carrot and celery sticks with hummus. Not pictured, I also have so Kashi honey sesame crackers (BEST.CRACKERS.EVER) & an orange.
