I am totally LOVING my bowl of oats this morning!
In today’s mix:
-1/3 cup oats
-1/3 cup light vanilla soy milk
-splash water
-1/2 sliced banana
-approx. 2 tbsp raisins (regular AND golden…maybe that’s what’s so tasty??)
-cinnamon
I don’t know if it’s the golden raisins or the toppings that are making these babies so delicious! On the side, I had just heated up one of my mini breakfast cookies that I made back on Monday, and had a little PB smeared on top. Then last minute, I thought, that would be one killer oats topping! So I broke it up into little pieces and topped the oats, along with about 1 tbsp. granola.
Mmmmm, look at those! I am in oatmeal heaven!
Along with my oats, I have my mug-o-joe for the ride into work, with a little skim milk.
I’m only working a 1/2 day today because this afternoon, my mentor, Bonny, & I are meeting up to discuss some of our end of the year procedures for school…it’s coming up fast!!
We’re trying out a NEW place for lunch, which I am SUPER excited about. After our meeting, it’s a trip to the gym, a quick stop home to change, then back out for softball practice. (Hey, at least it won’t be freezing like Sunday was.)
