This morning started bright and early with a trip to the gym for some BODYPUMP!
I haven’t taken a class in about a week because my arms were pretty sore from starting up softball again. But today, I was back in action. I started with about 15 minutes on the treadmill before class, and got in 1.5 miles. I wound up switching my speeds up all over the place, but I ranged anywhere between 6.3mph and 7.2mph.
BodyPump felt GREAT today. My arms and legs felt like jello after a few of the tracks! Don’t you just love that feeling?
I wanted to share with you guys one of my new, favorite pieces of “equipment” for BodyPump…
Never in a MILLION years would I have imagined that I would be buying a pair of lifting gloves, but after taking the class for a while, I was noticing that some calluses were building up on my hands…NOT so feminine!
I bought the Harbinger Women’s FlexFit Training gloves, and they’re awesome. The comfort pads on the palms mold really well to my hands, and the “NoSweat” lining does a great job of wicking away moisture. I would highly recommend them!
(Even if Jay totally made fun of me for buying them!)
After the gym, I had to make a pit stop for my favorite Sunday post-workout treat…
I Love You Starbucks!
Today’s sip was a grande skinny vanilla latte, and it totally kept me happy while going and doing my grocery shopping!
Man, I’ll tell ya, today I was just NOT in the mood to be grocery shopping. It was super busy, and I had to wait for about 10 minutes at the deli counter, UGHH! >:0 (Hey, at least it’s done with for the week, right?)
One of my new favorite things to buy, which I find pretty amusing, are these cuties!
They’re totally targeted towards kids, but these little ‘nana’s are the PERFECT size for me! They come 8 to a package, and the whole thing only costs $1.24! Check out the cute stickers
I immediately unpeeled some and threw them in the freezer for smooooothies!
I also was lucky enough to have a little helper while putting away the groceries today.
“Hey Mom, this doesn’t look like my food???”
Isn’t he just too cute?!?
After putting the groceries away, I snacked on a piece of whole-grain bread that I bought yesterday, along with some Blizzard Butter & sliced bananas. I also had another slice of this before I left for the gym this morning, but was in too much of a rush and forgot to snap a photo!
I didn’t want to fill up too much with breakfast food, since I’m headed to a bridal shower for my friend Kate a little later today. After that, I’m thinking Jay and I are heading out to get some new running shoes!
