Queen of Lazy

by Courtney on May 7, 2010

I totally took advantage of my 1/2 price Frapuccino today!  YUMM!! :-P

I actually, however, was slightly disappointed in my order.  Normally, I get a Caramel Light Frapuccino, aka, frosty heaven through a cup. :-P  Today, I fell victim to the “let’s try something new because it’s on the snazzy board” dilemma.  I ended up getting a tall Extra Coffee Caramel Frappucino, which I really didn’t think would be much different from my norm, except for a little extra coffee; but it was surprisingly much different tasting, and I ended up craving my usual…boooo!  Ohh well, at least it was 1/2 price and I know better for next time!  I still finished the whole thing anyways ;)

I also, in honor of Cookie Friday, decided to get myself a Treat-Sized Double Chocolate Cookie…

Surprisingly enough, this cookie was actually TOO chocolaty for me!?!?  Totally, wasn’t expecting that one! I only ate 1/2 and saved the rest for the hubby, which he enjoyed. :)

Before I stopped to get my treats from the ‘Bucks, I popped in to a local store to do a little Mother’s Day shopping for Mom.  I found what I was looking for! :)  I can’t post it yet, since Mom will be reading, but here’s a little sneak peek to get you thinkin, Mom! ;)

Hmmmmm, what could it be?!?!?! :-D

Tonight, Jay had a softball game in his men’s league, so I went down to watch.  It’s a good time, because all the “girls” get to hang out in the bleachers and chat :)  Because of the game, however, my dinner was totally thrown off!  Before I left for the game, I ended up having a small piece of my leftover pizza from the other night on my way out the door.  When we got home, we were both starving but really not in the mood to wait to make anything!  Sooo, we got SUPER lazy, and pulled out the emergency frozen dinners :)

I really am a fan of the Lean Cuisine paninis, pizzas, and flatbreads.  They have some really good flavor to them and are great in a pinch!  This was my first time trying this panini, and I definitely give it 2 THUMBS UP! :-D

The spinach, chicken, and artichoke flavors all complimented each other REALLY well! :)  I was too lazy to use real dishes too, so paper plates it was!

Along with our lazy meals, we decided to break out a couple delicious beverages…”His & Hers”.

I really LOVE this blueberry ale…it’s AMAZING! :-P  According to the Blue Point Brewing Company website, “Blue Point fresh Blueberry Ale offers an unusual twist on brewing that turns out to be just perfect. A wonderful blend of fresh blueberries matched with a thirst quenching distinctive ale. We carefully add 132 lbs of blueberries to each special batch. Brewed with 100% American ingredients. Enjoy a truly unique flavorful brew!”

Jay and I both have early mornings tomorrow, so we’re having a night in and catching up on our shows that we DVR’d from Wednesday (YAY Modern Family & Cougar Town!)

What’s your favorite type of beer? :-P

Normally, I’m happy with your basic domestic beer, because the microbrews are usually a little too “hoppy” for me.  Although I have found a few (BLUEBERRY ALE) that I really enjoy! :)  Once summer starts, Jay and I are also big Bud Light Lime fans! ;)

Blueberry ale?! that sounds amazing. I love me some cider beer, but its not really a summer kind of thing.

thanks for the good reviews on the paninins–definitely sounds like a good “in a pinch” meal
