Gift Card and Cookies Giveaway

I really am loving today. I’m loving it a lot! And I’m thinking you guys may too when you check out the end of this post!

Being my first day of vacation this week, I slept in a bit, enjoyed a mug of coffee while lounging on the couch, and then headed out to the gym. On my way there, I snacked on a Clif Z Bar.

One of my favorite pre-workout snacks!

I hopped on the elliptical for 15 minutes of intervals before heading into my BodyPump class. The instructor actually mixed things up a bit and did Release 72, which I totally forgot used to be one of my favorites! SCORE. Open-mouthed smile

After class, I knew I had some errands to run, so I actually grabbed my entire peanut butter container before leaving the house this morning.

Yeah, I’m cool like that. Smile

I also brought a banana with me, which took many dunks into that pool of PB. It was incredible.

After my snacking in the gym parking lot was complete, I made an excuse to stop by Starbucks for a tall Skinny Caramel Macchiato.

Once I got home, it was past lunch time and my tummy was grumblin’! I was feeling a little snacky, so I put together a little snack plate:

Very Christmas-esque looking veggies for today: baby cukes, grape tomatoes, & celery.

My favorite component of my snack plate, however, was by far the amazing naan bread. After eyeing them for months, I finally picked up a package of Fabulous Flats Tandoori Naan bread during yesterday’s grocery trip.

I cut one of the two flats in half, sprayed it with a little butter-flavored non-stick cooking spray, and heated on the stove top for about 3 minutes. DELICIOUS!! Open-mouthed smile

Now, for the goods!

This afternoon, I spent a little time trying to organize my purse and wallet (scary!) and happened to come across this $25.00 gift card for Rock Bottom Restaurants, Inc.

Well, unfortunately for me, none of these restaurants are located anywhere near me. I’d really hate for it to go to waste, SOO…It’s up for grabs!

I’d love to win because we LOVE Rock Bottom. (Any my fiancee hates to spend money on going out to dinner so if we have an awesome gift card, I might be able to twist his arm into going! lol) and their Chicken Salad with Grapes is amazing.

I didn’t even realize Rock Bottom was a chain! There is one near me in Boston that I’ve been to before and really enjoyed. Would love to go again! Plus who wouldn’t want those delicious looking cookies

I almost didn’t post a comment because first I thought… “rock bottom restaurants? never heard of it.” then I thought… “wow, no rock bottom restaurants near me, AND missing out on a chance to try Courtney’s mouth watering cookies.” UNTIL… I googled the locations of the restaurants and discovered that there is one in Boston, MA! My favorite big city (besides NYC, of course.)
What a great way to spend a day in the city, and with a yummy snack to enjoy on the hour long ride!

I’m going to be honest – while I would love to win that restaurant card, it’s your cookies that I’m really after!! I am a middle school teacher in the Chicagoland area on the brink of report card writing time (curse the trimester system!). That is SO weird – I just went to the Rock Bottom Brewery last Friday for the 1st time and it was amazing! Plus your cookies look mouth watering so this would be the best giveaway to win Pick me, pick me! hahaha
