An Evening Beach Stroll

Last night was such a great night!

The evening started out with nice glass of vino out on the patio while the boys (and Randi!) played a little b-ball.

Before I knew it, the sounds of the blender were whirling away in the kitchen and I was being handed a delicious strawberry margarita…made with fresh strawberries, no less.

Hey, when in Rome… Winking smile

For dinner, we all decided to stay in and order exactly what I had been craving…

I snagged a slice of sausage, peppers, and onions, a slice of margherita, and a BBQ chicken wing which was actually pretty gross and I gave it to Jay. The pizza, on the other hand, was fantastic.  Seeing as though just about everything I had eaten up to this point in the day was loaded with sugar, I was more than ready to dive head first into some salt and savory.

After dinner, we all decided it would be a good night to take a little walk on the beach. Luckily, we were early enough where we were going to beat the crab rush; trust me, I did not want to be there to see that again!

Somebody, however, missed the memo and was a little late to the show…

Yes, that would be my husband. Winking smile

It was such a perfect evening for a walk out on the beach. There were a few other people around here or there, but mostly it was just us taking free range of the sand and water.

Some shenanigans sure took place, and the dogs had a great time running around too.

Some of the girls: Me, Randi, Cass, Erika, and of course, Bronx.

Some of the guys: Jay, Josh, Justin, and Joba. (Anyone else seeing a “J” pattern here?)

Our whole group!

I’m going to be so bummed to have to leave tonight…

Good thing we’ve still got one more full beach day ahead of us! Sun

Don’t forget…

You only have until this evening to enter the Almondina Cookie Giveaway!

And stay tuned this afternoon for a fun (and very helpful) Fashion Friday guest post!

We have never really found pizza worth ordering again in that area. This pizza looks great. Where was it from?

Looks like so much fun! So sad you have to leave today.

I’m not a chicken wing fan in general. I always feel like they’re not worth the fuss. If I’m going to get bbq sauce all over myself, at least the food must taste good!
