Yep. That’s exactly what I’m doing. You’ll see what I mean in a second…
I honestly never thought that my SOYJOY Daycation Giveaway would gain so much popularity. Then again, it is a pretty awesome deal, so I can’t blame you all for wanting dibs on the jam-packed goody kit.
But first, I have to quickly let you know about another pretty sweet contest that SOYJOY is holding on their Facebook Page…
SOYJOY has partnered up with TJ Lavin, BMX racer and host of MTV’s The Challenge, to bring adventure to our everyday lives. Now through July 24, you can enter the Show Us Your Real Life Adventure Contest by submitting a short video illustrating the real ways you add adventure to your everyday life. TJ will personally select three lucky winners who will take part in a real-life adventure: an all-expenses-paid weekend in New York City with a buddy and entry to the Great Urban Race – the most intense urban scavenger hunt out there. Plus, the team that finishes the race the fastest will win a $2,000 grand prize!
SO, if shooting videos and adventure are your thing, then you should definitely head on over to check it out!

But now, back to how I’m upping the ante…
WHAT IF…I told you that I have a new way to up your chances of winning?
Because I now have not one, but…

To Earn Your Extra Entry:
- Head on over to Facebook and “Like” the Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life Page. Leave a separate comment on the SOYJOY Giveaway Post letting me know that you did (or that you already do).

Lunch
It’s hot…so lunch is cold.
A glass of V8 + a pineapple SOYJOY bar.
And a yogurt bowl made with a vanilla Chobani, strawberries, cantaloupe, and more Sweet Cranberry Pecan Love Grown Foods granola.
Yogurt bowls will never get old. Especially when it’s sweltering hot.

Once again, you guys have some really good answers in this morning’s “Would You Rather” questions. I’m definitely seeing a little more diversity in today’s answers!
For the record…I would rather…
- Be bald…and buy a wig (I’d finally be able to try out wavy/curly hair and I already hate shaving as it is…)
- Laugh like a goat (when I first typed that, I typed “laugh like a cow”…now that would be interesting)
- Travel the world…I LOVE traveling (plus, my actual dream home would probably increase my taxes too much and be more than I want to have to clean…yuck)

My eating habits don’t really change with the seasons, more with whatever food rut I happen to be in. ;)
Julie H. of Spinach and Sprinkles says
Oh the soyjoy love! …So kind! …I will up my chances here in a minute and do the urban scavenger hunt…
Lindsay@ In Sweetness and In Health says
I just upped my chances of winning!! :) I really hope I do! I definitely change my eating habits when the weather changes. I prefer fruits and veggies and protein during the summer months and carbs galore in the cold ones!
Kathryn says
I tend to steer clear of cooked foods when it’s hot. I prefer easy make sandwiches/wraps and big cold salads (pasta or veggie). Yes, I did increase my chances! Sure hope I win…I could really use some good news right now.
Megan says
I’ve already liked your Facebook page! Hopefully that helps! :) And I did the same today…it’s so incredibly hot out, only cool eats have sounded good! I hate feeling a heavy meal in my stomach when it’s hot out!
Lindsey says
I liked your Facebook page!
I am a seasonal eater for sure! Soups, chili, hot chocolate and hot oats in the winter months and summer is all about fresh fruit, smoothies and salads. Oh and we can’t forget about pumpkin in the fall!

I like your fb page :)
Aine @ Something to Chew Over says
I crave things like yoghurt, fruit and ice-cream when it’s hot and warming comfort food when it’s cold. I think most people are that way!
Lauren @ Sugar Coated Sisters says
I really need to get me some granola!! Your cantaloupe looks delicious! I should have picked some at the grocery store this weekend. D’oh!
Cait @ Cait hates Cake says
It is REALLY hot right now, so I definitely don’t feel like cooking. I have been eating a lot of yogurt parfaits, salads, and other no-cook foods lately.
Brittany @ Itty Bits of Balance says
mmmm I loveeeee Soy Joy!
Kristen @ notsodomesticated says
I don’t think my eating habits change too much. Since I have the air conditioning going in the house, I don’t feel that hot, so I don’t feel the need to eat cold things… does that make sense?
But I do eat more fruits in the summer. And I grill out more. :)
Helen says
My eating habits change a little with the seasons as far as types of fruits/produce I buy and cooking methods. I usually stick to the same basic eats. Oats, salads, yogurts, pasta!
Abby @ Abz 'n' Oats says
Yes! I love cold, fresh meals on the warm days and warm, hearty dishes when it is cold! Your yogurt bowl looks perfect! :)
Melanie says
I liked your facebook page!

Vanessa @ Sweaty in Pink says
Yes, I eat way more smoothies and enjoy lots more fruit when it’s warm out.
Khushboo says
As it gets hotter, cooked food tends to lose its appeal for me! Yogurt bowls are always a winner, come rain or shine!
Shayla @ The Good Life says
Yes my taste buds definitely change with the seasons!! Now that it’s summer I’m on a serious smoothie and salad kick! During the winter I love more carby foods…oatmeal, sandwiches, pastas, etc. :)
