Another Special Day

Guess what? Today is another very special day for somebody VERY special in my life! Oh yes, this is a busy week for me.

Somebody ELSE is another year older today! Wiser, however, I’m not so sure. Hehe…

Happy Birthday to my DAD!!

Again, I got a little more sappy on him last year, but I’m keeping it simple this year.

My dad is the absolute best, hands down. There is no doubt about it.

Jay and I have actually been working on putting together a special gift for him that I am super excited about. I can’t wait to give it to him!

Workout

I took yesterday as a rest day, which meant I was rested and ready to tackle another round of my High Intensity Circuit Workout. It kicked my butt just as hard as last time, but I loved it. Call me crazy. I followed up the circuit with the same ab moves that I did last time, too. Whew!

Delicious, as always!

I was a rather disappointed when I opened up my provolone cheese this morning to find that it had mold on it. Ughh, gross. So I had to resort to using Jay’s American cheese, which actually wasn’t all that bad; it was even a bit gooier than my provolone, which I rather enjoyed.

Of course, the pan of Love Blondies was staring me right back in the face as I was preparing my egg sandwich, so I had to grab a piece…or two.

All enjoyed with a delicious mug of coffee. Definitely a great start to my Saturday morning!

This afternoon, Jay and I took care of a few things around the house and in a little while we’ll be heading out to a wedding for our friends Mike & Meg. I can’t wait to wear my new dress!
