So Many Packages

by Courtney on January 25, 2012

Holy moly, my door step has been getting quite a workout this week! Does everyone else know that it’s Birthday Week or something?

Not only did I get that amazing box of Peanut Butter Cheerios, but I also found another equally amazing package waiting for me yesterday afternoon…

A Chobani care package, filled with all three of their newest flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Blood Orange, and Passion Fruit. I can already attest to the fact that the apple cinnamon and blood orange flavors are some of the most delicious things on the planet; I still have yet to try the passion fruit, but don’t worry, it’s on my agenda.

I debated on trying it for a mid-morning snack today, however, I just could not resist that darn apple cinnamon.

It’s just that good.

Fast-forward a few hours and it was time for lunch (which was actually eaten shortly after I took all of those crazy things out of my hair). Winking smile

I had a simple turkey wrap today, made with a few slices of low-sodium deli turkey, a generous smear of hummus, lettuce, tomatoes, and bread & butter pickles, all on a LaTortilla Factory High Fiber Whole Wheat wrap.

I paired the wrap with some carrots and tomatoes with extra hummus to round out the meal.

Shortly after lunch, there was another ring of my doorbell, which turned out to be my most recent order from

IMG_1235 is my go-go website for buying my beloved PB2, and I noticed the other day that I was running low and figured I should stock up. Not only did I order two jars of the regular, but I also splurged and finally decided to go for the chocolate PB2.

I have high hopes for this dreamy little jar. Don’t you worry, I’m sure you guys will be seeing it around these parts soon enough and I’ll fill ya in. Has anyone else tried it yet? Is it as wonderful as I’m imagining?

Since peanut butter is sort of my thaaang lately, I decided to try another new one, in the form of Justin’s Honey Peanut Butter Blend. I’ve seen Justin’s PB around for a while, but I can’t remember ever trying it before.

Either way, it has honey, so I’m excited.

The last item in my order is another one that I’m also particularly psyched to try out. I ended up coming across this Sweet Leaf Liquid Stevia in English Toffee flavor and before I knew it, it was in my shopping cart.

I can only imagine how this is going to taste in my morning coffee tomorrow!

***And just a reminder, for those of you who may not know…all new customers to can receive $5.00 off their first purchase with the use of my coupon code: SAZ564. Just click here to start shopping!

Tonight, Jay and I are actually heading out to trivia with some friends of ours, but before I go, I’ve got to announce the winner of my Valentine’s Day Gift Giveaway

The winning entry is…#60!

Congratulations, Julie! Shoot me an email (sweettoothcourtney[@]gmail[.]com) so I can get you in contact with Christina!

Alrighty folks, time to go get my trivia on…it’s boys against girls tonight. Oh snap!

Love your blog!!!! Just curious what is pb2??

3 Jen O. January 26, 2012 at 12:44 am

Kelley – It’s a peanut butter that has 85% less fat/calories and no preservatives. It’s so, so delicious!! There’s the regular flavor and the chocolate.

4 Jen O. January 26, 2012 at 12:48 am

It’s a /powdered/ pb. Forgot to add that important little detail…haha. You just add it to water…or yogurt…or a smoothie…lol…the list is endless… :)

5 Courtney January 26, 2012 at 9:41 am

Thanks for helping me out there, Jen! Well explained :)

6 Kathryn January 25, 2012 at 7:15 pm

I haven’t tried Stevia thing, mainly because I can’t stand Stevia, but I’ve done english toffee coffee and let me tell you: YUM! Enjoy!

Those are some amazing packages! The English Toffee Liquid Stevia really intrigues me!! So much you could do with that. I may have to go check out iHerb..

So I had heard of PB2 but never knew what it was until I just went onto iherb. I was wondering how you use it when adding it to oats. Do you just add the powder to your oats of make the pb according to the container first?
Kaitlin @4loveofcarrots recently posted..What I ate on my birthday weekend!

9 Courtney January 26, 2012 at 9:42 am

You could add it straight to the oats I would think, but I usually mix it with water and then put it over the top.

10 Molly Antos January 25, 2012 at 7:52 pm

I have a feeling you’ll have another fabulous package arriving not TOO long from now. Jealous of your CHO though. I LOVE the apple cinnamon.

I’ve heard of Powdered Peanut Butter but was wondering how you use it? Do you mix it with water to create peanut butter? Or can you add it directly into oatmeal, baking, etc.?
It seems likes a great idea with such a low calorie count but high amount of protein. Would love some advice! Thanks! :)

14 Coral January 25, 2012 at 8:09 pm

brittany, you can do all of the above with pb2! it’s really versatile. it doesn’t have the same mouth feel as peanut butter, but you can make it the consistency you want it to be by adding more or less water

15 j. January 25, 2012 at 8:36 pm

i also like to mix it with a little unsweetened almond milk (or any milk). you only need about 1 tbsp of liquid so in my mind it’s basically equivalent to water but makes it very, very creamy.

16 Courtney January 26, 2012 at 9:44 am

Oooo, never thought about adding almond milk!! Thanks for the tip! :)

17 erica January 25, 2012 at 8:05 pm

i just tried the passion fruit flavor! the flavor is DELICIOUS, but i hate that the seeds are left in. i don’t like eating the seeds :(
erica recently posted..happy he’s home

18 Linda January 26, 2012 at 9:35 am

I agree…the flavor was good, but I couldn’t get past the seeds! The blood orange and apple cinnamon are my new favorites.

19 Courtney January 26, 2012 at 9:46 am

That’s what I’m afraid of too, haha…I’m not a huge seed person either!

20 Coral January 25, 2012 at 8:06 pm

i have tried the chocolate pb2 and i think it is wayyyyyy better than the regular pb2. on a side note, i buy peanut flour from iherb and it is just like pb2, but it’s way cheaper AND you get more! i would highly recommend it if you like pb2!

21 Catherine January 25, 2012 at 8:59 pm

ahh i agree! the chocolate pb2 is to die for youre going to be putting it on everything you eat…every..thing….(scrambled eggs, just kidding gross)

but seriously i love to make this amazing single serving healthy brownie and drizzle some chocolate pb2 on top ( )

chocolate overload? i think not!

22 Courtney January 26, 2012 at 9:47 am

Umm, okay, that sounds amazing!

23 Mallory @ Have Your Cake and Eat it January 25, 2012 at 8:08 pm

i still have to try the new flavors! i tend to stick to the plain and vanilla because there is just so much sugar in all the regular ones – but ill have to try them at least once!

24 Lauren @ Chocolate, Cheese and Wine January 25, 2012 at 8:26 pm

Cannot believe you haven’t tried Chocolate PB2 – it’s AMAZING. I have even gotten my coworkers hooked on it.

25 DSK Steph January 25, 2012 at 8:26 pm

I love PB2! It’s the best with vanilla ice cream :)

26 j. January 25, 2012 at 8:29 pm

27 Kristen @ notsodomesticated January 25, 2012 at 8:31 pm

It’s weird–I love the Pom seeds in the pomegranate cho, but I hate the seeds in the passion fruit cho. The flavor is awesome but the seeds are a little too crunchy for my liking in yogurt… If that makes sense!

Annnd they now have pb2 reg and choc in Whole Foods! I was stoked!

I don’t have any stores in my area that sell it so I am happy to have found another site that offers it. I have tried the chocolate pb2 and it’s definitely good, but nothing can compare with the original! Thanks again for helping me save some mulah. It’s always appreciated!

I am a big fan of the chocolate PB2- it isn’t super chocolatey- but just the right amount! I was on a huge PB2 kick for awhile so I had to take a break but I am back on it full force. Don’t know what I did before it!

60 Shana January 26, 2012 at 11:13 am

I love the Chocolate PB2. It’s like a gooey Reese’s cup! Even though the stats aren’t much different (a little more sugar) I reserve it for special treats and use regular PB2 on a daily basis. You can make your own chocolate PB2 by adding a pinch of cocoa powder and powdered sugar to the regular stuff.

62 Debbie (Accidently Delish) January 26, 2012 at 11:57 am

i LOVE the new chobani flavors, but i have yet to try the passionfruit as well.

the first time i tried PB2 it was the chocolate. it’s good, i put it on top of my oats, but i’m sorry PB2 is not peanut butter. and i know people eat it because it’s lower in calories blah blah. i say suck it up and eat the real thing! haha.

but it is pretty tasty if you like PB2.

so jealous of the giveaway winner. i WILL win one. haha.

I totally agree, Debbie. PB2 is delicious, but will never EVER be a replacement for the real thing. I love adding it on top of oats, in yogurt, or spread on a VitaTop, but I never use it in a sandwich or on an English muffin. For that, I need the real deal. ;)
