Get Your Hands on Some VBlast! {GIVEAWAY CLOSED}

Don’t you just love it when you throw a bunch of food together, hope for the best, and somehow it just works?

Well, that would totally describe today’s lunch.

I ended up buying a tub of tabouli at the store the other day, so I combined about 1/4 cup of that with about 1/3 cup black beans, 1/3 of a diced avocado, 1/4 of a large tomato, and about 2 tbsp feta cheese. Ho. Lee. Crap. It was goooood.

So were two my leftover Zucchini Latkes with ketchup. Winking smile

Along with lunch I sipped on a VBlast.

I was recently sent a case of these to try out and have been sampling the different flavors all week long.

VBlast comes in 8 different flavors:

My favorite so far has been the Pomegranate Cherry, but the Acai definitely comes in at a close second. Jay’s been a fan of the Strawberry-Kiwi and the Wild Berry.

So what exactly is VBlast? Well, it’s a vitamin drink that is sugar free, calorie free, carb free, and caffeine free, but what makes it unique is that the vitamins are actually stored in the cap in a concentrate.

They’re not diluted in the water which I learned can apparently, over time, cause them to lose their potency. By staying in the cap, the undiluted vitamins maintain their freshness until the beverage is consumed.

I’m not gonna lie…I felt like a little kid as I watched the bottle in action.

As soon as you begin to twist, the vitamins begin to release down into the water.

And they keep going…

And going…

Until, finally, the cap is emptied.

And you’ve got yourself a bottle of vitamin water!

They sell them at my college. My favorite is the Pomegranate-Cherry, followed by Grape and then Strawberry-Kiwi. They are so much more refreshing then most vitamin water and I must admit, I’m always amused when twisting the cap and watching the water change color.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the grape flavor! Grape’s always my number one choice for freezepops, jelly, etc….but in my experience, it’s always either amazing or awful and cough-syrupy with no in between. Either way, I love the twist-cap – so functional and fun!

Very cool – I’ve seen some energy drinks that are like this with the active ingredients stored in the cap for maximum potency. I haven’t seen these at the store though I wonder where they are sold at
