Fashion Friday: Mary Kay Lash Perfection Giveaway {CLOSED}

Happy Fashion Friday, everyone! I know these fashion posts are becoming few and far between, but I’ve got a fun little somethin’ somethin’ to share with you all this afternoon…

Today’s Fashion Friday Topic: Mary Kay Lash Perfection

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to receive a very fun package in the mail.

Filled with makeup? Be still, my heart.

The package came filled with a number of different items for eyelashes from Mary Kay, so let’s get right to ‘em.

First up: Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara (in regular and waterproof)

The regular mascara is actually one of their best sellers, saying that it “delivers four times the volume without looking overdone.” I’ve actually tried out this mascara a few times and it does not disappoint – the waterproof one also did wonders for both of the weddings I was in this summer.

Next up: Mary Kay Lash Primer & Ultimate Mascara

I’ve only used the primer twice now, just because I’m mostly too lazy to take the extra step to apply it…BUT, when I did use it, it was great. The primer is said to help strengthen and condition lashes, lift them to help them stay curled longer, and even intensify your lash volume.

The Ultimate Mascara is another best-seller of Mary Kay which is supposed to provide more voluminous-looking lashes.

I actually haven’t given this one a shot yet, just because I didn’t want to have a gazillion different mascara tubes open at once. But if it gives my lashes a little more “oomph” then I’m in. I LOVE lashes. Love, love, love them.

The last item in the box was the new Mary Kay Lash & Brow Building Serum.

The serum is said to build thicker, fuller looking lashes and improve the look of thin lashes and brows. You simply apply along your lashline (or sparse brow areas) at night and wash away in the morning.

If ooooonly they had made this back when I was in junior high and wound up getting a little tweezer happy… Winking smile

I love Mary Kay’s Velocity face wash and face moisturizer. I definitely need to order more. It works great for me and I love the lotion.
I want to try the Waterproof Mascara. It would be great to have one that does not run. I have a tried a few before, but I am always open to trying a new one.

I love Mary Kay’s mascara! Since I only use lip gloss, mascara, and rouge (yes… I’m that simple with my makeup “routine”), a great mascara is a must, and I’m all out! I’d love to try the waterproof one since I usually have the regular.

I used to obsessed with Mary Kay in high school but only bought the face creams they had. Never tried the mascaras. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE eyelashes and I would LOVE to try out the ultimate mascara! I am having a hard time finding a good volume mascara that lasts all day. I have to go on mascara runs all the time because I think I use too much at one time to get my eyelashes to look thick. *Don’t worry I don’t look like I have tarantula lashes* I’ve heard good reviews about Mary Kay mascara and would love to try it out!

I LOVE Mary Kay. If there is one beauty product I spend money on it is always MK. Their Love Lash mascara is hands down the best mascara I have ever worn. My mom has been using MK for 25 years and her face still looks as young as a 35 year old (She is 55). What a great giveaway.

I would love to try the Ultimate Mascara. I love to have curly lashes, but the lash curler contraption you get at the makeup counters scare me. The first time I used it around my husband he thought I was cutting my eye lashes.

My favorite Mary Kay product is the Oil Mattefier. I am a freelance makeup artist and often use it on bridal parties and women with oil skin, and it is by far the best product of it’s kind on the market! Oh, and their eye makeup remover can get the most stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner off:)

I love Mary Kay products! I swear by the acne gel, if I get a pimple, I just wash my face, dab it on, and the pimple is history. I’d love to try the mascara!

I would love to try the Mary Kay Lash Love Waterproof Mascara because the waterproof mascara I use now is very difficult to take off. I always lose a few eyelashes in the process. Maybe the MK brand would be different

The only MK product I’ve tried is their lip balm, which I absolutely love. I don’t wear much, but love lashes/mascara too! I would love to try any of the mascaras.

Ohhh, I’ve loved to try that lash/brow serum! I got a bit tweezer happy in junior high and my eyebrows never grew back in in a few spots, and I just hate having to use a brown pencil or brow shadow every day… ugh!

When I was a little girl, my Mom purchased my very first eye shadow and lipstick from Mark Kay for me. It has been years since I last had their product in my possession, and I’d love to try out their latest stuff. I would honestly love to try them all, but to pick one… I think it would have to be the Lash Love, because I think it would meet my everyday needs!
