Illustrated Look-Alike Character Giveaway {CLOSED}

So a couple of weeks ago, I found an adorable little cartoon waiting for me in my inbox.

Look…it’s meeeee. Most of all, I love how there’s a cupcake involved. Smile

Laura of LauraLikesDesign.com sent it to me and we got to talking a bit about her design work. I mean, have you guys seen some of the stuff she does? Just look at the ADORABLE header she created for her blog for the holidays. It’s SO cute!

I got talking a bit more with Laura, who is super, super sweet. She has a background in both design and advertising/marketing, and takes on all sorts of various design and illustration projects. She absolutely loves working with new clients, which is why we decided it might be cool to give her a little shout out her on the ‘ol blog!

Originally, I was thinking that this post and giveaway (which I’ll get to in a sec) would probably only interest those of you who have a blog, but the more I talked with her about it, that’s definitely not the case!

One lucky reader will win a custom look-alike character (like the one above) illustrated by Laura. The winner will email a photo of themselves to Laura and she’ll transform it into a one of a kind illustration.

*Laura also said there can be more than one person, so if you have a photo of, say, you and your significant other or children, you can do something like that too!

Wow – her work is amazing! I love her holiday blog header! I’m just getting started in the ‘ol Blog world (and ummm… I need to post more than twice a month!!) & I would LOVE to have some sort of custom cartoon character of myself/blog header/logo… LOVE IT!

Oh, my gosh! That is so awesome! I would probably want to do a blog header to make my blog more personalized (right now, it’s pretty one-note). And if she can do animals, it would be fun to have one of me and my kitty, who features pretty frequently on the blog.
