Back to reality everyone! Really, is the weekend over already?? It went by so fast…but that also means I had lots of FUN too! 😀
This morning I rolled myself out of bed (yes, rolled…did not get a good nights’ sleep for some reason?) and moseyed on down to the treadmill. Once I started movin’, I realized that my left foot and my right calf were feeling pretty sore, so I decided to skip any type of running and switch it up with some walking intervals with lots of inclines. I honestly did not really pay attention to what I was doing, I just kept moving the inclines and speeds all around! But I do know that I covered a little over 2 miles in 30 minutes, so I was happy! I finished up with about 10 minutes of some abs…haven’t done those in a while. 😳
Breakfast this morning was a delicious, creamy bowl of Blueberry Oatmeal! 😛
I wanted to try my oats a little thinner today because it seems like lately when I’ve been eating them, the longer they sit, they tend to get really thick & goopy on me. So, today’s mix went a little like this:
-1/3 cup oats
-1/3 cup light vanilla soy milk
-2/3 cup water
-1/2 sliced banana
-Cinnamon & Nutmeg
-Blueberries (about 1/3 cup) stirred in at the end
I added a nice scoop of Skippy Natural Super Chunk PB that I used yesterday to make my Peanut Butter Pretzel Truffles. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had the Skippy Super Chunk, but I really liked it! 😛
I also have my mug of iced coffee that I brewed up last night to take on the road with me. LOVE me some iced coffee!
