Somebody wants to say Happy Monday to youuuuu!
So how was the weekend, guys? Good? Great?
Ours was a good one. We enjoyed a low key Friday night (then again, that is basically every Friday night and/or every night of the week…) with some homemade grilled pizza. Which, for me, was eaten while walking around the kitchen while Alex took a catnap in the Ergo.
He probably had some crumbs on him, but hey, it works.
I also randomly texted my mom this picture and told her that I may want to cut my hair about this length. To which she said, you’ll still be able to get your ponytail, so that could work!
Mon always knows the important stuff…I definitely can’t be left with hair that can’t be put up in a ponytail or topknot because that’s basically how I wear my hair at least 80% of the time these days.
Oh hey, tubby time cuties!
So Sunday was a good one. It started off extra early (as did Saturday) because Alex’s new thing right now is to wake at about 5:15-5:30am to eat and is then ready to go for the day. So he eats and we play for about an hour and a half or so before I put him back down for a nap and crawl back into bed myself.
Well because it was the weekend and I had Jay home, he very kindly let me continue to sleep and took care of hanging out with Lucas once he woke up. And on Sunday, the two of them went out for a little treat so I came downstairs to be greeted by a DD’s iced coffee and these incredible donuts.
For the locals – the donuts came from The Cookie Factory and OMG. If you can get your hands on the glaze donuts, DO IT. INSAAAAANE.
Sunday also included a little decorating for fall.
And some twinning action (matching shirts from Carter’s, thanks to my good friend Christina!)
And a trip to a local farm to pick up some pumpkins and mums!
Lucas was very insistent on “pushing the big cart all by myself,” and probably knocked down 2-3 plants throughout the trip. But we still had fun and made out with some goodies.
Once we got back, both boys went down for a nap and I headed to the grocery store to stock up on the week.
And that’s where the pictures apparently end from my weekend! My parents came and visited for a little while in the evening, I had an Usborne Books party, ate cereal for dinner, didn’t work out all weekend, didn’t wash my hair all weekend, and OH…I had some fun on Facebook Live, in case you missed it!
Now I’m gonna wrap up this post and try to get to bed at a decent hour. I’m fairly certain that we have a cold starting up with Lucas, which will likely make its way to Alex and me, so I’m going to try and squeeze in as much sleep as I can now!
I hope you guys all had a great weekend! Did you do anything fun or exciting??

Those cheeks are so cute!!! loved your “LIVE” video….I’ve been wanting to get my hair cut the same way..I totally agree with you it still needs to go in a ponytail or up somehow..lol

I cut my hair about that length recently too, about 10 inches off!, and yes you can still get it in a pony but not a high pony! It’s definitely been a game changer, so much lighter and no one is pulling it out every chance she gets! ;)
