So Ashley recently tagged me to play along in a fun little survey, and since you guys probably already know I’m a sucker for surveys, I most definitely had a play along. Thanks, Ash!
Four names that people call me other than my real name:
- Court
- Cuppy (this is what I called myself when I was little and couldn’t say Courtney)
- Coop
- Mama/Mom
Four jobs I’ve had:
- Cashier at Grand Union (high school)
- Worked as an associate at Fashion Bug (high school)
- Elementary School Teacher (grades 1, 2, 4, and 5)
- Personal Trainer
Four movies I’ve watched more than once:
- Airplane
- Elf
- Love Actually
- Wedding Crashers
Four books I’d recommend:
- Gone Girl
- Something Borrowed
- The Devil Wears Prada
- Love the One You’re With
Four places I’ve lived (this one doesn’t get too exciting…)
I’m sort of skipping this one because it can be narrowed down to: my parents’ houses growing up (2 of them), my college dorm room at The College of Saint Rose (2 of them), and my current home. I’m a bit of a homebody.
Four places I’ve been:
- St. Lucia (on our honeymoon…take me baaaaack)
- Riveria Maya, Mexico (again, take me baaack)
- Greenough, Montana (for Glamping!)
- Las Vegas
Four places I’d rather be right now:
- On a beach
- At a resort pool with a swim up bar
- Anywhere warm and without snow (boy I have a long winter ahead of me!)
- Home…in my PJ’s. Preferably in bed.
Four things I don’t eat:
- Mushrooms (unless they’re diced/chopped suuuuper, super small)
- Olives
- Veal
- Anything with a spice level about “medium” (<—I’m improving, I used to be strictly mild only!)
Four of my favorite foods:
- Ice cream
- Cheeseburgers
- Pancakes
- Pizza
I sound so healthy, don’t I?
Four TV shows I watch:
How do I only choose four? I’m a TV junkie and watch more than that, but 4 of my favorites would have to be:
- Nashville
- The Blacklist
- Modern Family
- New Girl
Four things I’m looking forward to this year:
- Christmas! Being able to celebrate with family and seeing how Lucas reacts to everything this year since he was so little last year.
- Decorating for Christmas (I may do it earlier than normal this year…)
- Thanksgiving – and eating all. the. things.
- Baking Christmas cookies
Four things I’m always saying:
- Oh, really?
- Wherrrrrre’s Lucas??
- Where did I put _______? (I’m always misplacing things)
- I love you!
The survey is supposed to end with me tagging four people to answer these questions, but I’m always really bad with that, so I’m going to just ask all of you! Pick a category or two from above and share your four answers!
Linz @ Itz Linz says
i did not know you used to be a teacher!! and my cousin is playing buddy in a broadway elf right now – just started the tour last weekend!

Love Actually is one of my favorite movies along with Clueless, Top Gun and Garden State. I used to despise olives as well until we traveled to Italy and I tasted the most amazing olives ever! Such amazing taste, nothing like what we have here.
Courtney says
Clueless!! Oh my gosh, great movie indeeeeed! Rollin’ with the hoooommmmieeeeezzzz!
Aine @ Awkward Irish Girl Blogs says
Totally didn’t know you used to be a teacher, that’s so crazy!
My top 4 phrases right now are probably:

* I’m so excited for Christmas. [For realz so excited!]
* I’d love a cup of tea right now.
* Sorry I’m late! [Eh yeah working on fixing this…]
Courtney says
Haha, that first phrase is funny! Sounds like something I could use myself ;)

Four places I’ve been:
-Paris
-Switzerland (mostly Interlaken-I want to move there!)
-Cinque Terre, Italy

Courtney says
Not too long, maybe 9 months or so? I was also doing online personal training through the blog which was really fun! Unfortunately, there just aren’t enough hours in the day right now, haha.
Stephanie @ Whole Health Dork says
Aw, too bad. I’m sure you were great at it. Maybe again some day?

Ok, so I am changing a category.
Four places I have worked:
A country club
A US Senator’s Office
Hallmark Cards
A hospital
Four places I’ve been:
St Lucia also for my honeymoon
Germany
Italy
Switzerland
Courtney says
Awesome answers! Where did you stay in St. Lucia?? And working for a US Senator’s Office? I envision that is being either super interesting or really boring lol…?
Rachel S says
We stayed at the Sandals Grand St. Lucian. We kind of wished we had stayed somewhere else, but it was still nice.
Depending on the day the Senators office was either super interesting or boring. LOL I wasn’t in DC, I was in a regional office, so it wasn’t really crazy, but it could get kind of stressful.
Courtney says
We stayed at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian as well, but we loved it and have raved about it ever since. When did you go? We went in 2010…I wonder if things have changed??
Rachel S says
We went in January of ’08. We liked it, and I loved the spa. We wished we could have explored more of the area easier.
Beks@The Modern Jane Austen says
Places I’ve been:
1. Disney World, Florida
2. Castaway Cay, Bahamas
3. Nassau, Bahamas
4. Cozumel, Mexico
I’ll go back to ANY of these places (Though, I didn’t like all the cat calling in Cozumel. Anything to get customers to their stores, I suppose. I also got offered pharmaceuticals on the street there! THAT was weird!)
Courtney says
Oh my gosh, really?! Cozumel sounds like quite the place!! That would kind of freak me out, haha
Beks @ The Modern Jane Austen says
A kind, yet firm, no seemed to suffice. You might fare differently, because you’d probably go with your husband. When I went, I was with my sister.
Stacie @ SimplySouthernStacie says
Love Actually and Wedding Crashers are two of my all-time favorite movies! They are both so hilarious and sweet.
Courtney says
I totally agree! Both of them totally make me laugh, and I love the different kind of humor in each of them :)
Ashley @ My Food N Fitness Diaries says
Haha! I totally say, “Where did I put ________” ALL the time too. I’m definitely losing things everywhere I go. I think I’ve always been that, but I’ve noticed it’s become way worse since becoming a mom. ;)
When do you think you’ll decorate for Christmas? I’m slowly chipping away at it already. I’m just too excited. Plus, Thanksgiving is kinda late this year, so I decided why not?!?
Courtney says
I think I might start this weekend! I was telling Jay on Sunday that I wanted to start next weekend and he looked at me like I had 5 heads. But I had the same argument as you…Thanksgiving is late this year! Have to make the most of it :)
Katie @ running4cupcakes says
