Aaaand, the award for best blog readers of all time goes to…
All of YOU!!
Thanks so much for all of your feedback from this morning’s post– I really do appreciate it. I had a feeling that some of you would be able to relate in one way or another, so it felt nice to see that I’m not the only one currently battling Mr. Sugar. Just goes to show ya…we’ve all got our demons.
Breakfast
I had a short shift at work this morning (got a new client I’m super excited to work with too!), but before heading home, I had a quick pit stop to make…
It is Coffee Friday, ya know.
Today’s order: 1 pump Caramel Almond iced coffee with skim milk. It’s sooooo good. And I am sooooo excited to have iced coffee back in my life.
For breakfast, I wanted something quick, easy, and no fuss, so I kept it simple with a whole wheat English muffin topped with peanut butter, banana slices, chia seeds, and cinnamon. Today was actually the first day that I finally opened the jar of Justin’s Honey Peanut Butter that I bought from iHerb back in January.
WOAH, that stuff is good.
I enjoyed breakfast while watching The Doctors (anyone else addicted to this show??) and skimming through a copy of the latest Tastefully Simple catalog that Jay brought home from work yesterday.
Turns out, one of his co-workers (Hey, Tracey!) sells it, saw that I had mentioned it here on the blog the other day, and sent him home with a catalog for me to look at. I’m pretty sure we’ll be placing an order…and I’m pretty sure it will include beer bread.
After letting breakfast digest, I went ahead and tackled part of today’s bootcamp workout. On the agenda for today were some upper body supersets, which I actually did at home since it just worked better with my schedule today. As for cardio, I’m going to count tonight’s Tabata class and really get the group pumped up.
By the time I was showered up it was already lunch time. I didn’t end up having a mid-morning snack, but I also didn’t feel like I needed it because I ate breakfast later than normal. Instead, I plan on breaking lunch up into two parts today.
Part 1 included a delicious yogurt bowl, filled with plain Chobani, strawberries, blueberries, Kashi Go Lean, Special K Protein Plus, and some granola.
Yeah, you know. The same combo you’ve been seeing for weeks now.
I also snacked on a Double Strawberry Cream Cheese Filled Muffin with part one because I was still hungry and, well, I wanted one.
I find it kind of ironic that part one of lunch today was rather on the sweet side, don’t you?
Not sure yet what part two will entail, but I know I’m going to try and get some veggies in there somewhere…even if I did have enough of ‘em to feed a small army last night.

I have started making Courtney-inspired mixed cereal bowls and I think of you every time I make one! :) No exciting dinner plans, but I’m thinking I’ll attempt some peanut butter banana bread with my new peanut flour. Pretty sure it will need some chocolate chips, too. I mean, how could that be bad?

We’re meeting our mortgage broker in downtown Atlanta late this afternoon, so we’ll probably do dinner down there. Otherwise, we’ll have to fight Atlanta traffic on a Friday evening at rushhour. Yikes!!
Enjoy your evening! :)
