Back in June, I wrote a fun post sharing all of the “stuff” that I keep in my purse. So for the inner nosey person in all of us, I thought I’d go ahead and share an update on what’s in my purse these days.
I’ll admit, it was a bit scary digging in there and seeing everything that was hiding…
But hey, good opportunity to do a little cleaning out, right?
Here’s a look at ALL the goods!
Lately, my purse is FULL of coupons and receipts. Between all of the Christmas shopping and Home Depot trips for the various home projects we’ve been doing, I feel like it’s never ending! Plus, I mean, who doesn’t love coupons, right??
Of course, it wouldn’t be my purse if there weren’t some snacks. Especially nowadays when hunger strikes basically all.the.time. Right now, my emergency stash includes a Clif Z-Bar, a Flyjoy bar (so good!), and some fruit snacks…because, I’m obsessed with them right now. Then you’ve got your gum and mints, and because I was feeling pretty sick around the time I took these pics, I also had plenty of tissues and Ricola® Dual Action Honey Lemon drops.
The drops are nice and soothing on a sore throat, and they’re loaded with good stuff like like B vitamins and Chrüterchraft, Ricola’s 10-herb blend. What’s in the blend? Check out this post!
Depending on the day, I’ll also have my coupon book, along with a potential grocery list. I had just gone grocery shopping the day I took these pics, so my coupons and list were still in my bag.
I’ll always have the usual suspects here, like my keys, phone, inhaler, chapstick, hair brush, and hand sanitizer.
And then this time around, I had a few fun and interesting items…including a toy helicopter, a book, a Christmas CD (because our current kids CD in my car was driving me bananas…), and…a Christmas ornament without a top. I’m not sure why the ornament was in there, although I know I had it because Lucas grabbed it off the tree and broke the top off. Who knows?
What I DO know is…I don’t think there’s any way I’ll ever downsize to a small bag again.
And speaking of the bag, that’s the fabulous tote that I received in my Stitch Fix back in September. And in case any of you are in need of some ideas for this holiday season, Stitch Fix has gift cards, which would make for a super fun gift idea, if you ask me!
How about you guys? How different does your purse look during the holiday season? What are some funny items you’ve maybe unexpectedly found in there lately??

Cute bag! And yes I love a big bag too. I think the funniest thing I ever had in my purse was the TV remote. I must have grabbed it along with my phone & shoved it in my purse. But the ladies at work said the look on my face when I saw it was so funny.
