Oh hey, fashion posts. Nice to see you again!
It’s been, umm, forever since I last did a fashion/OOTD post. So I figured I’d switch things up a bit and took some photos over the past couple weeks of some of my outfits.
Again, as with any fashion-related post, I will preface this and say a fashion blogger I am not. Nor do I think I am some big fashion maven who knows it all. Ohhh, no. It’s just a topic I enjoy, so I’m having some fun with it.
Outfit #1 – More “dressed up” than usual
I’ve mentioned before that the dress code at my office is pretty lax. Some people wear jeans everyday, others dress up more. It’s really what you feel like wearing (with its boundaries, of course!). I have a couple pairs of maternity dress pants that are pretty comfortable, so I’ve been breaking them out a bit more often (and I swear, they aren’t dirty…no idea what’s going on with those pictures?!). I can still also wear many tops that aren’t maternity, so I’m squeezing into them while I still can!
- Sweater: Target (similar, similar)
- Pants: Motherhood Secret Fit Belly Pants (similar, similar)
- Scarf: Infinity scarf via Boscov’s (last year) (similar, similar)
Outfit #2 – Another work outfit
This is an outfit I shared in my post from last week! It was another work day outfit, but I decided to rock my new jeans.
- Sweater: Target (this one looks similar)
- Jeans: via Stitch Fix. They’re the amazing ones with the elastic waistband from my latest fix…so glad I kept them!
- Boots: Muk Luks via QVC. My mom got them for me for Christmas and I love them! I couldn’t find the exact pair on their website, but these are similar.
Outfit #3: A comfy Saturday outfit (which was also worn to work once, too)
Anytime I’m wearing leggings, you know I’m a happy camper!
- Top: Long-Sleeved Hooded Maternity Sweater via Motherhood (currently on sale!)
- Leggings: Motherhood Secret Fit Maternity Leggings
- Boots: Obviously, not pictured.
Outfit #4: A casual Friday work outfit
- Top: Flannel Plaid Shirt via Target (similar)
- Black Seamless Tank: Not sure where it’s from?? (similar, similar)
- Jeans: via Stitch Fix (same as above)
- Boots: Bear Traps via Macy’s (from a few years ago, but these are similar)
Outfit #5 – Company kick-off party!
It’s not often that I get to (or get the desire to) dress up, but every year, our company holds their annual kick-off meeting and party, so it’s always a good excuse to try and look nice.
- Dress: 3/4 Sleeve Scoop Neck T-Shirt Dress via Liz Lange for Target
- Hells: Nine West (similar, similar)
- Necklace: Nordstrom (similar)
I honestly had NO idea what I was going to wear, but I super quick trip into Target the day before had me in the dressing room where I found this simple black maternity dress. It’s ridiculously comfortable, and for only $24.99, I consider it a great buy. Jay has his company party tomorrow, so I will absolutely be wearing it again (so don’t be surprised if you see this again, Jenny!).
So there you have it…a wide range of outfits I’ve been sporting these past couple of weeks!
How about you guys? What kinds of outfits have you been loving lately? (I’m taking bets on the number of you that say leggings!)

Your bump is beyond adorable! I love the black maternity dress, it’s so flattering. I have the same type of dress code at work but always lean towards dressy.
Melissa says
Yes, leggings are definitely always a staple in my closet, as well as knee-high or mid-calf boots to keep my legs warm in this frigid weather, in addition to tunic sweaters!
Linz @ Itz Linz says
Leggings – all the leggings all the time!’
Sheena @ Paws and Pavement says
That black dress looks beautiful on you! Great find for under $25! I’m loving the sweaters and scarfs. We have to wear business casual at my work. Lately I’ve noticed all my pants need tailoring though…all the hems are falling out.
Melissa @ Freeing Imperfections says
I love fashion posts (and trust me, I am no “fashion blogger” either). Especially maternity ones though! I think I only did this one when i was pregnant and I regret that now.
I LOVE outfit #1 and the dress! A good maternity dress that you feel good in is a must.
Jenny says
Love the dress, can’t wait to see it and of course you and Jay at the company party. I still have no idea what I’m wearing since I live in yoga pants and jeans. Going to a few stores tonight to hopefully find something. Love the fashion post bc we get to see that cute baby boy bump!

Yep, leggings and chunky sweaters, scarves, and flannels. It’s been SOOO cold in Michigan!

Seriously adorable!

You look adorable. I always felt like so frumpy in my maternity clothes, but you rock them! Maybe Lucas fingerprints on the mirror in the first few photos?
Caroline says
I just realized what’s making the bottom of your pants look dirty in #1 & #3 –little Lucas hand prints on the mirror! Too cute!
Taylor says
Yes, leggings are definitely a staple this time of year! I have a pair of dark red ones that I love wearing with a big sweater. so comfy!
Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday says
Skinny jeans and leggins with chunky sweaters and boots. Basically my winter “uniform”. ;)f
Cassie says
Long-time reader, but I rarely comment. Just wanted to say that you are glowing in these photos! So happy for you and your growing family!
Oh and as a fellow (former) Upstate NY-er, I live in tall boots, leggings, and long, comfy sweaters in the winter.

I LOVE that dress & the striped hoodie. You look great!
Katy @ Savor Life's Flavors says
As a 5th grade teacher, leggings are my savior. I am constantly on the ground working with kids and running around the classroom/school. I’m loving slimming, long sweaters with my leggings that still give me some shape, but hide some of the winter comfort food I have been indulging in. This wardrobe combo helps me stay comfy while looking semi-professional. :-)
Julie says
You look great in all of the outfits! Love your style.
Carolyn says
Loving Friday’s look! You look great!!
Bethany says
So Cute! Lovely that black dress! I am 28 weeks pregnant and must be the only pregnant girl that doesn’t like maternity jeans……..I find them so uncomfortable! They don’t stay in place and it’s impossible to pull them up gracefully! lol
Shelly says
I love outfits 2 & 4. Your bump is adorable! I already miss mine (my youngest is 4 months).
Tara | Treble in the Kitchen says
That black dress looks so great on you!
Kristy @ Southern In Law says
You look fab, mama! As we’re in the middle of summer, my go-to clothing item at the moment are tassled cotton shorts! They’re cute, comfy and can be worn both around the house and out if you dress them up a bit. Definitely my summer leggings alternative :P
