Good Morning! How are you all doing on this lovely Monday?…(wait, lovely + Monday usually don’t belong in the same sentence) ;)
Well, if you remember from last night, Jay and I planned a relaxing movie night on the couch. After about 20 “I don’t care, you pick”‘s back and forth (typical), I finally made the decision to go with 500 Days of Summer. Super cute movie!! I was in the mood for something a little more light and comical, and this was a perfect choice! We both really enjoyed it.
Not only did I enjoy my movie, but I also enjoyed this little dish :-P
Friendly’s slow churned vanilla with a drizzle of sugar-free caramel & about 2/3 of my pretzel M&M’s. It was HEAVEN! And the pretzel M&M’s…oh.my.gosh…that’s all I will say ;)
Cody also had fun watching the movie from his “new bed”.
“Peek-a-Boo! I see you Mom!”
This morning, I set my alarm nice and early to start the day of with a good workout. I did my 45 minute treadmill interval run, which kicked my butt wonderfully…if there is such a thing. ;)
After showering and getting ready, my rumbly tummy was telling me it was time to be fed! So let me just warn you quickly: today’s breakfast was so good, I think it almost had me dancing a jig in the kitchen…
Overnight Oats in a Jar!!!
Last night before heading to bed, I added 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup light vanilla soy milk, golden raisins, & cinnamon to the last of my Plain Jane Chunky PB jar. And this morning, literally all I had to do was open the fridge, give it a stir, and it was ALL SET!
Mornings + Easy, Mindless Breakfast = Happy Courtney :-D
Just for a little extra “oomph”, I decided to add 1/2 of a mashed ripe banana to the mix this morning. It was fantabulous…like I said, dancing a jig kinda good. ;)
Even better, hubby said I couldn’t get a new jar of PB until I finished off one of the four jars already open in our pantry right now…looks like Courtney’s getting some more Blizzard Butter on Saturday!
Oh, I almost forgot! You may or may not remember a few weeks back when I was trying to decide on which perfume to get from my Sephora Fragrance Sampler? Well, over the weekend, I finally made a decision…
Viva La Juicy!
I’m REALLY happy with my decision! The scents of wild berries, Jasmine, and Vanilla are very dominant and perfect for me! Jay approves too. ;)
Question for the morning:
What’s your “signature scent”? Do you change fragrances with the seasons?
I’ve always liked to have some variety with my fragrances! Some of my favorites are:
-Lucky You by Lucky You Brand
-Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana
-Stella by Stella McCartney
-Fancy Love by Jessica Simpson
-Burberry Brit by Burberry
-Sensual Amber from Bath & Body Works (one of my winter faves!)
