$25.00 Hodgson Mill Gift Certificate Giveaway

By Courtney 188 Comments

***Giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who entered!***

***The winner has been announced below…***

A couple of days ago, I was asked to participate in a blogger baking challenge put on by Hodgson Mill called the “Have a Grain Holiday!” Recipe Contest. I was sent a 5lb. bag of Hodgson Mill Whole Wheat flour and a 2lb. bag of Hodgson Mill “Best for Bread” flour to help assist me in putting together a new recipe.

Last night, I realized that I was kind of in the mood to make some homemade bread. I love bread. I love it a lot.

I also love sweet things. No secret there, right?

So I decided to combine the best of both worlds by making a loaf of this:

IMG_0510

Cinnamon-Honey Whole Wheat Bread. And oh baby, is it delicious!

IMG_0511

I made my bread in my bread machine this morning, but it’s very possible to make this by hand if you have the time and patience that I obviously do NOT have.

**To check out the recipe, just click here!**

The house smelled great all morning (I have the day off of work, in case you’re wondering) and could not wait to be able to incorporate it into today’s lunch.

IMG_0513

I immediately sliced off two big pieces and topped one with butter and the other with my new jelly love.

IMG_0514

But honestly, as exciting as the bread is for me…you know, since it’s in my house…I still have a nice little opportunity to share with all of you!

As a part of my participating in the contest, Hodgson Mill is offering a giveaway of one $25 gift certificate, redeemable at the Hodgson Mill online store, to one my readers. Yes, that means you!

As a bonus, you can also enter for a chance to win a Hodgson Mill Baker’s Gift Pack valued at $85!  To enter that giveaway, just click here: bit.ly/tMlGQV.

I actually have a breadmaker also...and the problem is that it is SO good when it comes out of the machine all warm and soft that I end up eating half the loaf right then and there! Despite my inability to have any self-control whatsoever, I will DEFINITELY be baking some in these coming holiday months!
