I’m going to spare you all the extra photos of today’s lunch, since it was the same exact thing I enjoyed yesterday and I promise, it was just as good. Instead, I have something else to share with you all this afternoon!
Get excited my friends, get excited.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when I teased you all with that package of popcorn that came from the UPS man? Well, let’s talk about that package of popcorn.
That package of popcorn is what is known as the Sweet Tooth Sampler from 479 Popcorn (how fitting for me, right?!?) and I was lucky enough to be sent one to sample. 479 Popcorn gets its name from the founder, Jean Arnold, who came up with it after discovering that 479 degrees Fahrenheit is the optimal temperature for popping corn. (I never knew that?!?)
479 offers a variety of sweet and savory popcorn flavors, but the Sweet Tooth Sampler is what we’re going to chat about today. It comes with four different varieties of popcorn:
Chipotle Caramel + Almonds, Vietnamese Cinnamon Sugar,
Ginger Sesame Caramel, and Fleur de Sel Caramel
Out of all four varieties, it was the Fleur de Del Caramel that immediately caught my eye and became a favorite.
The popcorn is covered in smooth, buttery caramel and sprinkled with the perfect amount of Fleur de Sel (sea salt) on top, for a delicious mix of sweet and salty.
It was hard to try to keep my hand out of this bag!

At first I thought I’d like the fleur de sel, but I know I would love that so I’m actually more intrigued by the chipotle caramel almond flavor! I love chipotle seasoning, but I can’t imagine it with caramel on popcorn!! The flavors in the sampler sound like the best – the others on the website weren’t as appealing to me….
