Do you guys remember a couple of weeks ago when I shared some of my favorite Skinny Cow treats? Well, do you remember when I mentioned that they also now make a new iced coffee drink, but I could not find it anywhere near me here at home!? Well, what do ya know…they carry it in Wildwood, NJ!
Since we all arrived just after dinner time on that Friday, Jay and I headed out grocery shopping for a few things that we’d need for lunches and snacks on Saturday while Lucas napped. I just so happened to catch THESE out of the corner of my eye while grabbing for some iced tea and lemonade off the shelf.*
*I feel like this is worth noting because I would have never thought to look there for them. I had assumed that they’d be in with the refrigerated items. Go figure?!
So that Saturday was actually pretty crappy, weather-wise. The wind was whipping all day long, it was cold, and there were a few different bursts of heavy rain showers. Sadly, it was definitely not a beach day. After we hit up the coffee shop for a late breakfast, Lucas went down for his nap shortly after and…ahhh…there was quiet.
We all had things to do to keep us busy; my mom did some reading, my dad and Jay watched some special on ESPN about the Mannings, and I relaxed out on the balcony with some of my favorites.
I actually didn’t start reading that book yet, since I realized I should finish up the other book I’m currently reading (10% Happier). It’s my mom’s book though, so I’ll likely borrow when she’s done!
So since I was able to find all three flavors of the iced coffee, that meant I had to make a decision as to what to try first. But ultimately, the Vanilla Latte flavor sounded the best so that’s what I dug into. And you guys, it’s good. Like, super creamy and indulgent kinda good.
I can only imagine what it would taste like if it was blended up in the blender with some ice…super dreamy.
So yeah, even though Saturday wasn’t exactly the best beach day, it certainly wasn’t a loss of a day! Lucas napped for a good three hours, which gave me plenty of time to enjoy some quiet and relaxation.
Ahhh, life is good.
And now, even though we’re no longer at the beach and I’m without my Creamy Iced Coffee, I’m still indulging in my Double Caramel Swirl ice cream bars and Skinny Cow Devine Filled Chocolates.
Because they’re just delicious.

I’m not a coffee drinker (shocker, I know), but those caramels and ice cream bars are so good! I can’t resist the Skinny Cow ice cream.
Oooohhh WOW. these look WONDERFUL! I’m going to have to find some!!
vanilla latte definitely sounds best and served over ice would be faaaaaantastic!
I love me some Skinny Cow! I just had one of their ice creams last night while feeding the baby!
Never tried these, but would definitely give them a try! I’ve tried the ice cream bars and really liked them!
I can only imagine the amount of chemicals in them for them to be available on the shelf and not in the fridge.I do like skinny cow products but there are probably better delicious choices out there not filled with some many chemicals and artificial items.
I’ve been itching to try some Skinny Cow products! Looks like you’re having a fabulous, relaxing time at the beach, even if it’s windy and chilly!
