Cards For a Great Cause – Can You Help Me Reach My Goal!?

By Courtney 6 Comments

I’ve been so proud to be a part of Usborne Books & More for well over a year and a half, and it has given me some wonderful opportunities to be able to give back to those in need. I always appreciate you guys letting me talk about this little side business a bit on here, and today I’m doing just that real quick, in hopes that you may be able to help me out!

Right now, our team is working hard towards another very important goal for one of the girls on our team, Allyson Tuckness, who recently battled Leukemia. In honor of celebrating her remission, we are currently selling some really beautiful boxes of cards to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

If you aren’t already familiar with it, LLS is a really amazing organization that funds a ton of important research for cancer and does a lot of patient support. To raise money for this incredible organization, we are selling Usborne Cards for a Cause. These beautiful, handmade cards are an amazing value at only $1 each. They easily compare with the $5 cards you find in gift shops, and even with the cost of shipping added in, you’re paying less than $1.34 each! Check out the quality in the pictures!!

Not only that, but Usborne gives $13.00 per box purchased, and I will also be donating all of my sales commissions.

There are 4 different boxes you can choose from:

All Occasion Box #1

Almost all of us buy cards from time to time. So if you feel in inclined, please feel free to buy them here and support a wonderful cause in the process! If you would like a box (or more!) of cards, here is the form to order:

https://form.jotform.com/80794816097167

If you’re local, you can choose to pick up your cards from me to save on shipping. If you aren’t local, I will be sending you your box directly, along with a little extra thank you from me! : )

Orders can be placed any time between now and the deadline of March 31st.

My personal goal for this fundraiser is to sell 25 boxes, and I truly do appreciate any support. Please feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested! THANK YOU!!! <3 <3

    Hi Courtney:

I would love to contribute. I lost a very dear friend when she was 34 and had a brand new baby, her dream home, life was going so perfect for her and she passed from Lymphoma. Thank you for doing this fundraiser. It means a lot. Love your blog! Is there any kind of receipt that will be send for tax purposes after I enter the payment? I hope everyone over there is doing well and the situation with Alex came with good results for you. I pray.

Donna, I am so, so sorry to hear about your friend. That is just awful. You will receive an email after you submit payment which you can use as a receipt for tax purposes. :) And thank you so much for thinking of us and Alex – still no solid answers yet, but we’re hopeful <3

Courtney – this is so wonderful. I love this idea for so many reasons. I’m buying 3 boxes and can’t wait to use them but also know they are going to a great cause. It’s people like you doing things like this that can bring a smile to so many people’s faces because cards are such simple things that can mean so much. THANK YOU x a million. Please keep us all posted as to your progress.

Hey! I am getting a “square payment error” on the link, and the credit card line items will not allow me to populate a CC number. Is there an alternative way I could order / pay you?? This is a great fundraiser.

When my business started to grow rapidly, I knew that I needed to scale my customer support operations. However, hiring and training new employees was not a viable option due to the time and cost involved. That’s when I decided to explore outsourcing as a solution. After searching online, I found an outsourcing company https://wow24-7.io/ that specialized in customer support services. They had a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to businesses of all sizes. I contacted them, and they provided me with a customized proposal that met my specific requirements. They had a team of experienced support agents who were well-trained and capable of handling large volumes of inquiries. They also provided me with a dedicated account manager who was always available to address any concerns or issues. Thanks to the outsourcing company, we were able to scale our customer support operations quickly and efficiently. Their services allowed us to handle a larger volume of inquiries, which resulted in improved customer satisfaction and retention.
