So yesterday was quite the day. Not that it was necessarily a bad day, but it started out with a couple challenges. First, I didn’t realize that Jay had to work early, meaning that he wouldn’t be around in the morning to help get Lucas ready. He really is a HUGE help in the mornings, so when I realized he wasn’t going to be there I got a little worried.
It also didn’t help that I hit the snooze a couple times too many, putting me behind schedule, and then having Lucas sleep later than usual. So after getting him up, it was a whirlwind of diaper changes (two, of course, thanks to his mid-feeding poop), feedings, gathering of bottles, bags, and everything else for myself, and getting out the door.
Luckily, we weren’t too far behind schedule but I had a feeling there had to be something that I’d missed. So when I went in a little while later at work to pump for my first time of the day, I then realized I’d forgotten some of my pump parts. Ooooofffff course.
While I could have just nixed the pumping for the day and waited until I got home, I really didn’t want to do anything to mess with my supply (I’m sure one day wouldn’t make much of a difference, but still…), so I took an early lunch and went home to get them. While I was home, I suddenly realized just how hungry I was, so I scarfed down a Chobani and snacked on a few handfuls of bunny cookies trouble…
Ummm, yeah. Have you guys tried these things?? They. Are. Amazing.
I got them last week from Vitacost, through an opportunity from FitFluential. I actually hadn’t ever heard of Vitacost up until recently, but I’ve got to say…I am super impressed with just how much stuff they carry!
The goody box I received was filled with some tasty treats for me, as well as a couple items for Lucas, too. Their variety of grocery items is just huge, and I was super pumped to see the items that they chose for me. Of course, there was the box of Annie’s Homegrown Snickerdoodle Gluten Free Bunny Cookies (aka, trouble).
Fun Fact: I’m snacking on these once again as I type up this post.
The site carries a bunch of different nuts, seeds, and trail mix items, including this bag of Eden Foods Organic Wild Berry Nuts Seeds and Berries. I’d actually had this same exact mix before and am a huge fan, so when I saw it in my package, I was pumped.
Another fun item that arrived on my doorstep was this Vitacost Super Cacao Mandarin Orange chocolate bar. Chocolate + mandarin orange? I’m all in.
But out of all of the food items, I’d have to say that the one I was initially the most excited about was the box of Kind Healthy Snacks Variety Pack Mini Bars. Did you guys even know that Kind made mini bars?! I had no idea, but as someone who’s already a fan of the regular size bars, the minis will be perrrrrfect for a quick little pick-me-up snack.
I’ve already got the box stashed at my desk at work.
As I briefly mentioned earlier, Vitacost also carries a number of items for babies. They have everything from toys, to formula, to skin care, with all of it being eco-friendly and baby-safe. I’m excited to try out both the California Baby Calendula Cream and California Baby Calming Aromatherapy Bubble Bath with Mr. Lucas.
I wonder how long it will be before he can actually sit in and enjoy a bubble bath? Something tells me it’s gonna sneak up on us before we know it.
Also, as an FYI, Vitacost also has a referral program where you can earn cash back towards your future Vitacost.com purchases. If you’re interested in signing up, check out this page (<—not a referral link, just sharing in case any of you want to give it a try!).

Alrighty, my friends. It’s about time for me to finish snackin’ on these bunny cookies, give Lucas his dream feed for the night (yep, typing this up on Monday night), and get my bee-hind to bed. I’ll catch you cool cats later!
Question for the Morning:
What types of foods/supplements/beauty items/baby items/etc do you prefer to order from big variety online stores?
