Dangerous Bunny Cookies

So yesterday was quite the day. Not that it was necessarily a bad day, but it started out with a couple challenges. First, I didn’t realize that Jay had to work early, meaning that he wouldn’t be around in the morning to help get Lucas ready. He really is a HUGE help in the mornings, so when I realized he wasn’t going to be there I got a little worried.

It also didn’t help that I hit the snooze a couple times too many, putting me behind schedule, and then having Lucas sleep later than usual. So after getting him up, it was a whirlwind of diaper changes (two, of course, thanks to his mid-feeding poop), feedings, gathering of bottles, bags, and everything else for myself, and getting out the door.

Luckily, we weren’t too far behind schedule but I had a feeling there had to be something that I’d missed. So when I went in a little while later at work to pump for my first time of the day, I then realized I’d forgotten some of my pump parts. Ooooofffff course.

While I could have just nixed the pumping for the day and waited until I got home, I really didn’t want to do anything to mess with my supply (I’m sure one day wouldn’t make much of a difference, but still…), so I took an early lunch and went home to get them. While I was home, I suddenly realized just how hungry I was, so I scarfed down a Chobani and snacked on a few handfuls of bunny cookies trouble…

Ummm, yeah. Have you guys tried these things?? They. Are. Amazing.

I got them last week from Vitacost, through an opportunity from FitFluential. I actually hadn’t ever heard of Vitacost up until recently, but I’ve got to say…I am super impressed with just how much stuff they carry!

IMG_5342

The goody box I received was filled with some tasty treats for me, as well as a couple items for Lucas, too. Their variety of grocery items is just huge, and I was super pumped to see the items that they chose for me. Of course, there was the box of Annie’s Homegrown Snickerdoodle Gluten Free Bunny Cookies (aka, trouble).

IMG_5341

Fun Fact: I’m snacking on these once again as I type up this post. Winking smile

The site carries a bunch of different nuts, seeds, and trail mix items, including this bag of Eden Foods Organic Wild Berry Nuts Seeds and Berries. I’d actually had this same exact mix before and am a huge fan, so when I saw it in my package, I was pumped.

IMG_5338

Another fun item that arrived on my doorstep was this Vitacost Super Cacao Mandarin Orange chocolate bar. Chocolate + mandarin orange? I’m all in.

IMG_5339

But out of all of the food items, I’d have to say that the one I was initially the most excited about was the box of Kind Healthy Snacks Variety Pack Mini Bars. Did you guys even know that Kind made mini bars?! I had no idea, but as someone who’s already a fan of the regular size bars, the minis will be perrrrrfect for a quick little pick-me-up snack.

IMG_5340

I’ve already got the box stashed at my desk at work. Winking smile

As I briefly mentioned earlier, Vitacost also carries a number of items for babies. They have everything from toys, to formula, to skin care, with all of it being eco-friendly and baby-safe. I’m excited to try out both the California Baby Calendula Cream and California Baby Calming Aromatherapy Bubble Bath with Mr. Lucas.

IMG_5336

I wonder how long it will be before he can actually sit in and enjoy a bubble bath? Something tells me it’s gonna sneak up on us before we know it. Winking smile

Also, as an FYI, Vitacost also has a referral program where you can earn cash back towards your future Vitacost.com purchases. If you’re interested in signing up, check out this page (<—not a referral link, just sharing in case any of you want to give it a try!).

*****

Alrighty, my friends. It’s about time for me to finish snackin’ on these bunny cookies, give Lucas his dream feed for the night (yep, typing this up on Monday night), and get my bee-hind to bed. I’ll catch you cool cats later!

Question for the Morning:

What types of foods/supplements/beauty items/baby items/etc do you prefer to order from big variety online stores?

I know...those bunny cookies are seriously addicting! My mother-in-law bought a box of those for me a few months ago and I had never tried them before. Well, after one bite I was hooked and literally ate the whole box in a few days. They're just that good!

Well yum!! That trail mix looks way better than the typical one they sell that the grocery stores. And I've never seen those Bunny Cookies, and they look super good!! Too bad they don't sell little bags of it, I would love to go try it.

I order from Sephora all the time since there is not one in my city and they are the only ones that carry a few products I use. Plus I always find other fun new things to try when I am trying to make the free shipping total!

Any sort of fun-shaped mini cookie is dangerous for me. Remember Teddy Grahams? LOVE those suckers… and Annie's bunnies definitely pose a huge threat as well. I don't buy a lot of things online, but if I didn't make pretty frequent trips to the States so that I could hit up WF, then I probably would. Nut butters, cookies, cereals, protein powders… you guys get so much more stuff down there than we do up here in Canada!

I'm sold on anything snickdoodle. I used to just buy snickerdoodle cookie dough and eat some every night! The bunnies might be a little healthier...

I LOVE those bunny cookies and I love all thing snickerdoodle so the two combined just sound like the PERFECT combination! My husband has a favorite candy that we cannot find ANYWHERE around us, so sometimes I will surprise him but ordering some of it off line. It is the only place I can find it and it is always worth it! :)

I love online shopping - I tend to buy a lot of our toiletries online now (soap, shampoo, razor blades etc.) I can never seem to remember them when I'm at the grocery store with baby and all the big stores have free 2 day shipping so I don't even have to carry them in from the car!! I've thought about doing grocery shopping online but I think I love going to the grocery store too much to stop - it's one of my favorite outings of the week!

Online shopping helped me bigtime after I had my daughter- but I mostly shop in stores. Although I did have to go online to search for natural/organic baby vitamins recently.

I love amazon for a lot! I get my protein powder, chia seeds, PB powder, carob chips, and some others. I find when ordering questbars it's best to go through their website because it is cheaper and if you google a coupon you always get free shipping. I did go on VitaCost and iHerb and do like what I see on there! I may have to do more shopping on line!

I've heard a lot of great things about Vitacost, though I've never tried it. My favorite site is Swanson Vitamins - I order jars of nut butters, snack bars in bulk, bags of different whole grains, and other random things like coconut shreds, goji berries, shampoo & conditioner, and even deodorant :)

Amzon Prime is the best ever when you have a baby! We like to joke that Amazon has little elves working when you order on prime. We can order a box of diapers at night and they get delivered the very next day. Usually it seems as though someone has sneakily placed them on our doorstep as we never see anyone deliver them! Also, the California Baby products are great! We use that exact bubble bath and our little guy loves it :)
