1. I found this photo on my phone yesterday and I have no recollection of taking it whatsoever. Go figure?
2. Wayfair basically owns me. I am just in LOVE with their site and am constantly finding new things on there that we “absolutely need.” And no, we don’t absolutely need them…but I want them. Our most recent purchase was this upholstered headboard for our bed and I’m so excited to start working on putting our master “together” with some paint and pictures on the walls, too.
3. Along with our bedroom, we’re hoping to start giving Lucas’s room a makeover, too. I’ve been looking at this set for his room (even though he still sleeps on the floor…), but still trying to figure out what color to paint his walls. Maybe a fun red accent wall? I just don’t know yet!
4. This weekend we have an open house to go to for Lucas’s preschool which is set to start in the fall. I’m looking forward to getting him into a structure learning environment, and excited to meet the teachers again (we visited back in June!). Man, before I know it, he’ll be hopping on the bus for kindergarten…
5. Speaking of being emotional, do any of you watch Chicago Med? And did you see this week’s episode with the little boy? I was literally sobbing watching the episode and almost had to turn it off. And then even after it was over, I just couldn’t shake my nerves (the boy was diagnosed with a disease I can’t recall and was given 5-8 years to live). Since having Lucas, I honestly have such a hard time dealing with that sort of stuff, and then things get in my brain where I constantly start to worry. Do you guys know what I mean?
6. I’m really just so incredibly grateful for my friends, both near and far. I’ve been reminded lately just how important true friends are, and have been reminded what a real friend looks like, and what it doesn’t.
7. I got a delicious, random salad from Panera yesterday. Nine times out of 10, I bring my lunch from home, but on the days where I run out of time/have no food in the house/etc., Panera is a go-to since it’s so close to my job. I’ve really been enjoying ordering online or at the kiosks, because it’s so much easier to customize your orders that way!
8. I didn’t realize until going to type up this post just how few pictures I really took this week. It’s making my fun facts today a bit more difficult than usual.
9. Congrats to the (3) lucky winners of the CLIF Kit’s Organic giveaway!
Be sure to email me with your shipping info at sweettoothcourtney at gmail dot com!
10. Jay just asked if I wanted a bowl of ice cream and to watch a show. That is definitely a yes…so I’m calling it for today!
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend, whatever you may be doing!

Preschool? Gah! I can’t even handle how quickly these kiddos grow up. My son is about to have his first haircut and I’m dreading it. Next thing you know he’ll be in college. ;)
Claire says
Courtney our kiddos are a month apart and my little guy is starting preschool next September as well! We use an at home daycare and I never realized that with preschool you are essentially paying double the daycare costs! I have been really stressing over this. We will still be paying our normal daycare weekly fee on top of tuition for preschool. It’s crazy!
Andrea @ pencils and pancakes says
Gah I cannot watch any sort of medical show, and have had a real problem with worrying about my health because of things online, in the media, etc. there’s just no way to get away from it!
Linz @ Itz Linz says
ice cream trumps everything else all the time! lol
Alyssa says
I watched that episode too and being a mom it just killed me to see. That is anyone’s worst nightmare. The worst part is I am pretty sure it is based off a real case going on now that I just recently read an article on, however in real life her other son tested positive for the disease as well. Heartbreaking! On a positive note, so excited about the preschool for Lucas, we are thinking of signing my son up for one too!
Kelli @ Hungry Hobby says
Yum! I haven’t been to panera in FOREVER, that looks delicious!
Melissa @ Freeing Imperfections says
I need to stay FAR away from Wayfair! I love upholstered headboards. I really want to redo our bedroom soon too. Our furniture is all from Target or walmart – so lame! Happy Friday :)
Catherine Cormier says
OMG – I was a mess watching Chicago Med this week! Between the little boy being diagnosed and Dr. Manning’s labor/delivery I pretty much had the ugly cry going on.
Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday says
The correct answer to, “Do you want ice cream?” is always yes :) Have a fabulous weekend, Courtney!
Shawna says
wait, you can customize salads at Panera?! totally news to me!
Whitney says
I am currently building my house and I. Need. Everything from Wayfair!! Love that app!
Megan says
Have you ever had any issues with shipping from Wayfair!? I feel like everything I order takes well over 3 weeks to be delivered! Their customer service has also been super unhelpful when I’ve asked for updates. I’m wondering if I’m alone on this issue :(
Courtney says
Oh wow, no, I’ve never had any issues?! In fact, most of my stuff arrives on time, if not a couple of days early. And a couple times I’ve had to get in touch with customer service, they’ve been incredibly helpful!
Megan says
Well at least you haven’t had any issues! I must not be in close proximity to a warehouse.

Yes, I love ordering online at Panera. Unfortunately, “my” Panera is not close to work, so, I usually place my order the night before, and pick up my lunch on the way to work. Ordering online like this is a huge time saver! I love their Turkey avocado blt, but with cilantro hummus instead of mayo & honey turkey instead of the oven roasted turkey. YUMMY!
Taylor says
That is so nice you can order online at Panera.. I never knew! Have a great weekend and stay warm!
Julie says
That comment about how he’s still sleeping on the floor just really cracked me uppp for some reason! Thanks for that! haha

My daughter will be starting preschool in the fall too – can’t believe it’s time already!! But agree with the more structure thing… where are you looking?? We are trying to find a place that is not every day because it doesn’t work with our work schedule.
shelly says
My son always steals my phone and takes random selfies. I never know he does it until I look through the pictures. It’s cute. I watch a dr. show called Code Black. It’s really good, too.
Hilary says
I love panera salads! I also love their turkey chili as well.
