1. Iiiiiiit’s alllllmost the weekennnnnnnnd! I’m finding myself longing for this valuable down time on the weekends more and more these days…especially since I know the “quiet” part of it isn’t going to last too much longer. Rules for Saturday and Sunday? Sleep in without an alarm, no schedules, and go with the flow.
2. Remember, my fellow blog-reading friends. Only a few more days until Google Reader is no more! Right now, per all your recommendations, I’m actually testing out BOTH Feedly and Bloglovin, but I’m actually enjoying Bloglovin quite a bit. In case you want to keep following my shenanigans, feel free to click the button below. ;)
3. Last night Jay and I went to my in-laws for dinner. On the menu? Grilled sirloin, pasta salad, and corn on the cob, enjoyed al fresco.
Then we were greeted with dessert shortly after…angel food cake with strawberries and light vanilla ice cream. Does that not scream SUMMER, or what?
4. The alarm that I use everyday to wake up is synced with my iPod, so unless I pre-set something, I usually wake up to some random song that’s being shuffled around on my playlists. Today’s wake up call? Baby Got Back. How’s THAT for a start to your Friday? Yes, Sir Mix-a-Lot, I know I have a little extra “junk in the trunk” (and the hood?) these days. ;)
5. As much as I haven’t been hating my maternity clothes, I’ll be absolutely thrilled when I don’t have to worry about ironing them anymore. Some of those tops are just too damn difficult to iron! The maternity leggings though? They’re sticking around. Forever and ever. (<– fun fact: This is one of those fun facts I’ve been meaning to include for the past month – at least – but keep forgetting)
6. THREE WEEKS. Holy crap.
7. My parents just got back from a beach vacation to Wildwood, NJ yesterday. As jealous as I was of them being able to relax with their toes in the sand, I was even more jealous that they got to go to The Seashell without me. I want to eat a sundae the size of my face.
8. Although I may not have gotten to have a sundae the size of my face, I did have a pretty sugar-tastic breakfast this morning. You guys ready for this? A DD’s iced coffee with a pump of caramel syrup, 2 blueberry munchkins, half a piece of some cinnamon swirl roll/bread brought in by a co-worker (with lots of icing, btw), and an incredibly delicious “mystery” cup of Chobani.
How’s that for the picture of health, eh? ;)
But seriously, the Chobani? SO good. I’m pretty sure I know what the flavor is (actually, I’m lying, I totally know) but my lips are sealed for now because I still don’t really even know if I’m supposed to slip that info to you guys or not. Don’t worry though…there mayyy or may not be a chance for one of you to win some mystery CHO of your own next week. Be on the lookout.
9. I read through each and every one of your positive comments on yesterday’s post and loved them ALL. So many of you have so much to be happy and thankful about, and I love it! I think many of you are also already going to give Baby Tooth a big ego. ;) You’re all so sweet – thank you!
All entries were included for the giveaway, but the lucky winner of the box of LOVE granola is…Entry #247
Molly Petsch
My husband and I are building a house! We’re so excited to have more space (we just sold our 1100 square foot condo) for us, our baby and 2 dogs. And we look forward to adding another little munchkin or 2 in the near future! And at 28, I couldn’t be more proud of where we’re at in our lives, personally and professionally!
Congrats, Molly! Please email me at sweettoothcourtney at gmail dot com with your shipping info so I can send off your goodies to you!
10. Hey, look at that. We’ve made it to #10. I think that about sums things up for today…Happy FRIDAY to you all and have a fantastic weekend! :)

I still can’t believe google reader is actually coming to an end. I’m still hoping they’re joking or something. I mean, it’s not that big of a deal but at the same time, I don’t like the other readers as much.
Eeee…three weeks! Such an exciting time!! And you’re almost there!
Haha, I like your Breakfast this morning…sometimes we just have to go with those sugar cravings;)

I’m cozying up to both Feedly and BL as well, but I’ve got to admit that I like Feedly just a little bit better. It reminds me more of Reader I guess. I’m still hoping that Google will change it’s mind or say that it was all a big joke. Fingers crossed!
Chelsea @ LittleOneRuns says

I’ve been using Feedly a lot lately and like it. I’ve got zero experience with Bloglovin, so I can’t weigh in on it! And I want that angel food cake/ice cream/strawberry combo, now!!! :)

That looks like the perfect summer meal! I love cakes with fresh berries! And that sounds like the perfect breakfast for me haha ;). The plan for today is to hit up Starabucks and get some delightfully sinful morning treats with the boyfriend!

Any new Chobani flavors are exciting!!! And I love summer cookouts whenever grilled corn is involved. Corn on the cob > any other veggies. I just love it! And I just made a strawberry trifle last week because I think anything with fruit, a light cake, and something creamy screams summer! So true. Have a great weekend <3
Ashley @ Life and Fitness says
I can’t wait to try Chobani’s new flavors. My favorite is the apple cinnamon one. Happy weekend!
Kim @ The Family Practice Blog says
ooohhh! I want to try some super secret Chobani flavors!
Kristen @ notsodomesticated says
Have you purchased some nursing tank tops yet? It’s a weird thing … I always just assumed that I’d go straight back to my normal clothes after having the baby. I didn’t realize that with breastfeeding, you practically need a whole new wardrobe (of tops, at least!)! You’ll probably want several nursing tank tops, and then some button down shirts for easy access! ;)
Amanda @ Pink Runner Girl says
I can’t believe 3 weeks! I feel like it was just last week that I was reading your announcement. I can’t wait to see what he’s going to look like. Obviously SO cute. Happy Friday to you as well!!

I am excited to hear about the new Cho! And every time that I try to “sleep in” I always seem to be out of bed by 8. I guess that my body is just used to waking up early. I hope that you have better luck!!
Danica @ It's Progression says
The morning of my wedding last summer, my sister and I were both sleeping in our old room in my parents’ house – she set her alarm (also hooked up to her randomly selecting ipod dock) to wake us up in the morning….We woke up to Baby Got Back and immediately busted out in hysterical laughter. It was probably the best way to start the day :)
Ellie@Fit for the soul says
Oh danggg!!! There are so many cool and yummy things that Chobani has been coming up with! That mystery Cho sounds enticing. And I agree that maternity leggings are kind of BOMB…
Christy says
A little random but I wanted to share two free Apps with you: Daddy511 (tracks contractions, keeps pertinent info, etc) and NibaNeba Baby Diary. The second app will help track feedings (bottle, breast, pumping, etc), wet/poopy diapers, baths, sleep times, etc. Insanely helpful with a new little one and beats the paper sheet that the hospital gives you to track these things.
Brittany @ Balance and Bananas says
Wait that Chobani is so cool!! Is that for real?!
Sarah @ A Refining Adventure says
That dessert = to die for! So fresh and summery. I’m a fan! I’m also very curious to find out about these new Cho flavors….very interesting! :-)

OMG!!!!! I had to laugh when you mentioned the Sea Shell. I spent 4 summers working in Wildwood … at the Sea Shell. The ice cream never got old – especially with hot fudge!!!!
