1. Okay, we finally finished season 4 of Orange is the New Black (and, stupidly, stayed up until almost midnight on Wednesday night doing so…). Umm, WHAT?! ALL the feels. Who else has finished season 4 already?!
2. Sometimes I wonder if my house is ever going to be clean again…?
And that was actually on a good day.
3. I agree…it is getting a little crazy. BUT, I totally want to try like, three of these. Especially the orange drink…I haven’t yet seen that one plastered all over social media yet?!
Have you tried and/or recommend any??
4. So that shirt I’m wearing up there in #2? I’m obsessed. It’s the Soothe Shirt from Lalabu, which the company sent to me to try out a couple of weeks before Alex was born. And just a heads up, they did not ask me at all to share it with you guys on my blog and I’m not being compensated for it (although I was provided the shirt for free). I just want to let you know that it’s amazing, and was SO helpful while I was home with both kiddos by myself this week.
5. I recently placed an order on Fabletics and am so excited for it to arrive. I initially went on to order the Juneau Sports Bra in any other colors possible because I already have one and LOVE it. But then I also found myself eyeballing the Annika Pant and the Coronado Convertible Tank, so they went into the shopping cart, too. Hopefully they get here soon!
6. I’ll tell ya…it’s amazing what an uninterrupted shower and a good hair wash and dry can do for the soul. I’ve been getting the time to wash my hair about maybe, ohhhh I don’t know, 3-4 days? So when I do finally get the chance to wash it again, I feel like a new woman.
7. And speaking of feeling like a new woman…I think I’m almost there, physically. This recovery has been MUCH different than it was with Lucas (which I’ll touch on more next week in Alex’s 1 month update – WHAT?!) but I feel like I’m finally starting to feel normal again. And not need a daily Motrin anymore(!).
8. We encountered our first bouts of not wanting to share with the baby this week. We broke out Lucas’s old Kick and Play Piano and, well, he wasn’t a fan of sharing it with baby brother.
And I have no doubt that this is only just the beginning.
9. I think I’m hearing this little man start to wake up from his nap…
And then I’m attempting a grocery trip after he eats because we are low, low, lowwwww in the food department over here!
Happy FRIDAY to you all, and hope you have a fabulous day and a wonderful weekend ahead! <3

I think you should taste test all of the drinks and do a blog post ;)

Having a shower daily was one of the biggest and best piece of advice my mom friends gave me – didn’t happen everyday but I made it my mission to get in the shower as much as possible ! I wish I had worn my little guy more – he was so gasy and cranky and I had a stretchy wrap then later bought a structured wrap and man they are life savers ! You’re looking amazing and love your messy house that’s what mine looks like too! Lol

I attempted to try the orange drink last week at two different Starbucks and neither had the orange mango mix in stock ☹️ Nor had they even heard of the drink.

I can not get over how precious Alex is! Those early days are such a blur, but cuddly newborn snuggles are worth the chaos every time! :)
I am so intrigued by the shirt carrier. I used a Solly Baby with Jack, but he honestly didn’t love it and it was hard for me to wrap and get it secure enough each time. The one you are wearing looks easy-peasy to put on, so I think I would use it a lot more!

Alex is just too cute. I have tried the pink and purple drinks. Love both. I have seen the green drink, but thats not for me. I think I might have to try the blue drink just to see how blue it is.

The pink drink is on my list for this weekend! I love Fabletics, the jersey dress is a must.

That was so nice of Jay to go out and get you coffee – my fiancé moved my car for me on his way to work so I can get out in case our roofers take over the driveway!

wow craziness with the Starbucks drinks! i haven’t tried any of them, but plan on checking out the hype about that pink one at some point. there’s a juice/smoothie truck right outside my work building so i just keep defaulting to that, but there’s also a Starbucks literally across the street, so i have no excuses! ps, you look wonderful. sounds like this recovery has been going well!

Although I don’t watch OITNB, I totally felt the same way when the very last episode of The Good Wife aired a couple months ago. It was one of my favorite shows and all of a sudden it was just done.

Girl, you look fantastic! I hope I look that good after giving birth to this little one :)
Enjoy the weekend!!

Yum…Starbucks. The best friend for new Mom’s. I have not tried the drinks you posted about, but got something very similar that I recommend….Match Green tea frappaccino with coconut milk! Yum! You look fantastic, by the way!

We stayed up late to watch the last 3 eps of OITNB last night and…wow. I’m not sure this was the week to do so. Or maybe it was just the right week to. Anyway, lots of feelings.
Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday says
This season of OITNB was way more disturbing/emotional for me than the previous seasons, but I’m still hooked.
Crazy that Alex is already almost a month old! So glad you’re starting to feel better!
