Grandpa Pete’s Giveaway {CLOSED}

By Courtney 363 Comments

**This giveaway is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered!**

Hey guys and gals! Just popping in quick this evening with a fun little giveaway for you all.

Very recently, I came into contact with some of my very favorite jarred sauce…and a whole lot of it, at that.

IMG_8352

If you’ve been reading for a while, then you probably know that if I’m not eating my own homemade sauce, I’m mostly likely using Grandpa Pete’s Sunday Sauce. I was first introduced to Grandpa Pete’s almost two years ago, and have been a fan ever since.

I love the fact that it’s all natural and locally made (in the Hudson Valley of New York – right close to home!). If you’re close to the area, the sauce can actually be found throughout the North East in stores and at fairs and festivals (to find out where, you can check here).

So their vodka sauce? Incredible. And their marinara sauce is super versatile, too.

IMG_8353

I’ve used it plenty of times on pasta, and most recently used some on the pasta bake I made a couple of weeks ago.

Which is why the jar of marinara may look a bit more empty than the rest. Winking smile

IMG_8356

Another favorite of mine is the garlic sauce.

IMG_8354

It’s proven to not only be delicious on pasta, but it also makes a pretty mean flatbread pizza.

So lucky for you guys, “Grandpa Pete” has offered a 10% off coupon code to all STSL readers. Just enter SweetTooth in the promo code box when checking out online.

But even better yet, he’s ALSO offered to giveaway one of his special Sunday Sauce 4-Packs to a STSL reader (seen below)!

IMG_8349

(open to US & Canada residents only)

To enter, leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite way to enjoy any one of these kinds of sauces.

I’ll choose the winner on Saturday, November 3rd. Good Luck! Smile

I would love to try Grandpa Pete's sauces! Especially the garlic sauce. I recently started making my own pizzas and would like to try using this on them. Also, I've recently enjoyed putting tomato sauce on chickpeas....let's face it, good tomato sauce is really versatile! Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

And the most important thing is its made local. Just got sauce from him at the garlic festival in Kingston ny recently. Would recommend to everyone!! :)

While visiting the Hudson River valley a year ago (on our honeymoon) we discovered Grandpa Pete's Sauce/pasta at a crafts fair. We fell in love with it, and purchased some to cook at our rental house. We tried all 4 sauces over the pasta, and the dinner in a bag was exceptionally easy, and delicious. Upon coming back home to CA we mail ordered 4 dinners in a bag for our grown children for Xmas gifts. Then we ordered all the sauces to give as gifts to special friends - of course, we got some for us too! Besides over pasta, we put it on flatbread for an easy pizza. It is BY FAR the best marinara sauce we've ever tasted. We're so glad we visited that craft fair! My thoughts are already going to giving Grandpa Pete's for Christmas again, as it arrived carefully and well-packed. It was a joy to all who received it!

Not long ago she sent me a jar of Grandpa Pete's Garlic Sunday Sauce. What can I say? It was fantastic and I used it in several ways. One night for dinner I used it to make my Chicken Parmigiana with a side dish of pasta. Then the next night I used some of it to make Pizza Muffins. Love the Vodka sauce, straight up on pasta, grilled Italian bread and spooned right out of the jar...you know it's good if you can spoon it right out of the jar, yummy!

Especially as the weather turns colder, pasta and marinara for dinner sounds so good! I have also been craving homemade pizza in the WORST way lately, so this would be the perfect excuse!

I love marinara for pizza or dipping veggies (or if I'm honest, sometimes even just dipping a spoon!) :)

Grandpa Pete's is some of the yummiest sauce I have ever eaten.... not over the top like some other sauce makers, it's just right.
