Well helloooo! How’s everyone’s week going so far?
Sorry to be popping in a little later than usual…I’ve got one of my busiest weeks of the season with Usborne Books this week, while also just trying to get what seems like 1,001 other things knocked off my to-do list.
While also making sure to enjoy some quality time with my boys. <3
That picture is one of the very few that I ended up taking this weekend, even though our Saturday did include a nice date night dinner! Despite the cold settling in, we’re continuing to get out in the fresh air, and the boys all had a great time with a little bonfire that our neighbor but together late Sunday afternoon. I totally foresee this picture being reenacted years from now!
So while you didn’t really miss all that much from the weekend, I DID want to share some of the new sweater finds I recently snagged from H&M.
After going through and trying all of them on at home (they always look different once you’re back home, don’t they?!?), I do have a couple that I may return or exchange. Partially because of how they look, and mostly because I somehow wound up with WAY too much grey.
Does anyone else find that they tend to be drawn to one particular color when they shop? Just me?
Anyway…here’s a look at what I came home with!
First, this sweater. I looooove. But I’m super bummed that I cannot seem to find it on their website (although this one is very similar, as is this one).
The large, bell sleeves are super cozy, and I really love the color, which is sort of in between a baby blue and mint green, even though my pictures don’t do it justice.
This is probably a good time to add the fact that it’s a good thing I am NOT a fashion blogger, because my shotty iPhone photos in bad lighting would likely never get me anywhere. But you guys get the idea. ; )
Moving on…next up is this Rib Knit Sweater in Powder Pink.
This one is a perfect example of one that I really loved while trying on, but after seeing the photos, it’s not really wow-ing me. I do like the color, and it’s really soft, so I’ll probably still end up keeping it, since it’ll be a quick and easy choice for work attire.
Another one that I’m still currently on the fence with is this Cable Knit Sweater in Grey Melange.
Again, loved this one when I tried it on, but when I see it in pictures, it’s looking just a little…sloppy maybe? I don’t know. Maybe it’s just because it’s ‘the first of what seems like 50 shades of grey coming up (below). I think I actually may just exchange it for the blue color and then I’ll be good.
Now, onto the rest of the greys! Starting with this Rib Knit Sweater in White Melange.
Loved this one because it works really well with dressing up a bit or down and was just simple.
Then there’s this Fine-Knit Sweater in Grey Melange, too. Ignore the noticeable, shiny size stickers…again, fashion blogger I am not!
But I am allll about this sweater. And the fact that it also comes in beige and dark green kinda-sorta makes me want to go get more.
Next up is this Textured-Knit Turtleneck Sweater, which I purposely bought to be able to wear with some cozy leggings. The length was perfect for leggings, and it’s nice and warm for my (typically cold) office at work.
Last up for this particular haul is this Knit Turtleneck Sweater in…Dark Grey. If you check out the sweater on the website, you’ll see that this one is actually quite long and large.
So I liked this one because you can keep it long and wear with leggings OR tuck it in a bit and wear it with a pair of your favorite jeans.
And speaking of jeans, I actually picked up TWO pairs of these amazing jeggings (shown in Dark Wash and also bough in Black) from American Eagle, which I haven’t shopped in in YEARS! I think they’re seriously my new favorite.
Boots are from Target last year or the year before, but this pair is very similar!
How about you guys? Score any good finds anywhere recently?? Share ’em in the comments below!

American eagle has the best jeggings! Someone recommended them to me last year and I was immediately in love.

I’m not a big sweater person but I am loving that thin v neck grey one. I need to take a trip to the mall soon. My wardrobe in general needs updating. Maybe I can score some Black Friday deals next week.

Okay, this post made me text my boyfriend, “Remind me to buy sweaters.” I LOVE these. Super cute! My favorite place to shop lately has actually been ThredUp. I LOVE it so much because everything is different and it helps with my short attention span. I’m actually planning another haul soon… even though I totally just got one in last week.

The cable knit grey you’re on the fence about is actually my favorite of them all! Although the fine-knit is a close second. I looooove oversized sweaters this time of year, but I know what you mean about them feeling sloppy at times. I just always feel that, if everything else is fitted and put together-looking, it works!

I love them all but you make everything look good. 😊
