It Rocks My Socks

By Courtney Leave a Comment

Today’s lunch totally rocked my socks (even though I’m not wearing any socks) ;)

I tried to think of something different to have today, but when it came right down to it, I was craving one thing: Chilled Squash & Carrot Soup!

I did a repeat of yesterday, by adding some more of my roasted veggies, along with a tiny dallop (I love that word too, Julie!) of plain Chobani.

So not only was my soup delish, but what really knocked my socks off was this new flavor of Livin’ Spoonful crackers: Pesto Pumpkin Seed!

This is by far my favorite kind that I’ve tried (I still have one more waiting).  Plus, they tasted pheneomenal dipped into my “chilly” soup. :)

I also packed up a strawberry flavored Chobani, but I’m going to hold off on that for now, since I’m feeling happily satisfied.

After work today, I’m headed to my “home away from home” (aka, the mall!) ;)  I am going to return the one dress that I have eliminated from the group for this Saturday’s wedding, and I’m going to make one more last-ditch effort to see if there’s anything else that catches my attention.  As much as I like the one that is the current top contender, there’s still just something missing!  (I’m keeping you in suspense for now!) ;)

After the mall, I’m taking a BodyPump class…wait, what’s BodyPump?  My gosh, I feel like it’s been FOREVER since I’ve taken this class, and oh how I miss it!  I’m sure it’s going to totally kick my butt later…but in a good way. ;)

I’d really like to try to incorporate a little yoga tonight after BodyPump, and was thinking about doing one of my yogadownload.com sessions, but I don’t really know which one, SOOOO…

**Do you have any particular yoga sessions (either from yogadownload or anywhere else attainable for me) that you enjoy or would recommend?  I know my muscles are going to be suuuuper tight!

OMG those crackers sound fantastic. Love your home away from home - I feel the same about my mall too ;-)

A group of us girls from Davies were doing P90X yoga .(until the weather became awesome, now we walk) If you don't have the set I'm not sure how to obtain it (if we need to be sneaky I can always make you a copy and leave it on Bob's desk :-) but it's an AWESOME workout! It's just over an hour and a half long, and when we first started, we could barely get through 30 minutes. We've been doing it since November and it's incredible the improvements we've all made! We can do the entire work out AND walk the next day! I've been a yoga/Pilates fan since college and this is by far my favorite work out. Happy stretching!
