I don’t have too much time to stick around today, since I’m still working on plowing through my enormous list of “things I’ve ignored taking care of for the past three weeks.” But I will share a few quick things I’ve been loving…
Like leftover birthday cake.
When I saw there was still a good chunk of it left from Lucas’s party, I got a little excited.
I’m really loving Yoplait Greek and Yoplait Greek 100 yogurts.
The company recently sent me their vanilla and Strawberry Cheesecake flavors to try out, and both Jay and I are huge fans of both. While the strawberry cheesecake does, in fact, taste surprisingly similar to just that, I think I’m a bigger fan of the simple vanilla. That way, I can mix in my berries and granola for some extra flavor.
I’m loving the fact that we can finally put Lucas in a big tub and not have to worry about using his baby tub.
It’s not that I was afraid to put him in the big tub before…it’s that our old tub’s drain didn’t work properly and couldn’t hold the bath water!
I’m also loving the fact that our bathroom is 99% done and I can’t wait to show you the finished product! Hopefully within a few more days.
And, finally, I’m also just really loving this picture from our softball game last Friday.
I was hoping Lucas would have the chance to get out there and run the bases before this season was up and, sure enough, he did. And it was adorable to see my little baby out on the big field. Some day, buddy!
Alright guys, I’ve gotta jet for today. Stay tuned tomorrow for a recap of my hydration challenge with Propel (did anyone else follow along with me?!) and a winner announced for the Propel giveaway!
Leftover birthday cake is one of the greatest joys in life.
that leftover birthday cake really doses look amazing! is that jam in there? recipe?!
I like flavored yogurt but prefer plain it vanilla for the same reason- I love adding my own mix ins!
I love that daddy/son picture! That’s a framer for sure/
That last picture is adorable! And yay for the bathtub being done! :) Hope you’re having a great week lady!
Thinking ahead to those two playing baseball together…doesn’t it make your heart explode? Because that picture is PRECIOUS! <3
Ahhh he looks so cute in the big tub! And there’s nothing better than leftover dessert, especially birthday cake. Yum!
Yum leftover birthday cake! What a perfect way to end the day :)
I love plain natural or vanilla..the only flavour exception being chocolate!!! Freeze some of the cake for a rainy day too!
I love the softball photo! So cute! I gotta get me some of that birthday cake!
I typically buy Chobani Greek yogurt, but honestly, I’m not all that impressed. I’ve been wanting to try the Yoplait Greek yogurt brand, so you’ve convinced me I must go out and get some. It sounds delicious!
Yum! Leftover cake, and with berry filling? Looking forward to seeing the bathroom reveal!
finding extra birthday cake is one of the best. surprises. ever.
I’ve been loving that Yoplait Greek yogurt too … except the coconut flavor is my absolute favorite! I discovered it at Blend Retreat and have been hooked ever since. It was all out at the grocery store the other day, and I was SO sad. Haha.
SO cute seeing little Lucas out on the big ball field!
Glad you’ve finally found some time to catch up on things at home. I too am completely flustered until I know I’ve got all my “to do” items checked off the list. We miss you on the blog though!
I can’t wait til you reveal your bathroom makeover … I just love these kinds of things! And baby Lucas in the tub?? Best thing I’ve seen today. :)
Awww, that is an adorable picture out on the field.
You’ve inspired me to perhaps bake a *slightly* larger cake for E’s first birthday. ;)
Mmmmmm birthday cake:) My husband’s bday is less than 2 weeks away, and I’m already excited for the cake (and to celebrate him turning 32, of course;)
I tried Chobani a year ago and did not like it at all so I thought I did not like Greek Yogurt. A couple of months ago I tried the Yoplait Greek 100 and regular and I LOVE them. Mason really likes them too. They have such a better taste than other Greek Yogurts.
We need a new house so we can put Mason in an actual bath tub… we only have a shower :/ We are using a metal tub in the kitchen lol.
