I’ve totally been lacking in the fashion posts lately, haven’t I? Turns out, it’s kind of difficult to post fashion stuff and outfits when half of your stuff is packed up and your house sort of looks like a bomb went off in it…
BUT, I’m switching things up today because I just recently got a new Stitch Fix in the mail last week, so you know I have to share it with you all!
In case you’re new to Stitch Fix and how it works, you can read all about it in my first post about the service, HERE.
I took the month of April off, partially because there really wasn’t anything I needed, and also because my fixes had been sort of so-so. I was excited to see what new items were in store for me this month though, and overall, I’d say they did pretty good this time! Here’s a look at what I got and what I decided to do with it…
KUT FROM THE KLOTH Kate Boyfriend Jean – $78.00
(similar, similar, similar, similar)
As soon as I saw that I had a pair of white denim jeans in my fix, I was pumped. And then when I saw they were boyfriend fit, I was almost immediately sold. I love that they’re not super tight (especially being white) but still fitted enough to not look sloppy. They are ridiculously comfy and I can already see myself wearing these all spring/summer long.
So if you couldn’t already tell…Keep it!
BRIXON IVY Priya Abstract Floral Print Knit Back Tank – $48.00
I loved the bright colors of this top as soon as I pulled it out of the box. The fabric is nice and light, making it perfect for layering or just wearing as-is in the warmer weather.
I played around a bit with having it tucked in a bit or just left hanging out and I like it both ways (I’ve actually been really in to half tucking in my shirts these days). As of right now, I’m still a little on the fence (partially because I know I wouldn’t pay that price if I was looking at this in the store), but most likely, I’ll keep it since I have some credit left over.
SWEET RAIN Chrissy V-Neck Blouse – $38.00
Again, I loved the bright colors of this top, but the fit just wasn’t right. It just sort of “hung” on me, and was a bit too boxy/short for my liking. Return.
ZAD Veronica Layered Metal Cuff – $32.00
(similar)
I was actually surprised they sent me a bracelet, since I’m pretty sure I had that checked off on my style profile. But honestly, I’m really glad they did because I love this one! It’s simple, but makes a statement, and I think it’ll be a great way to dress up a basic outfit a bit more.
Definitely going to keep it!
BRIXON IVY Lex Textured Floral Knit Fit & Flare Dress – $74.00
Ohhh, this dress. It was so pretty and the fabric was wicked comfortable, but I’m just not sure I’d get enough use out of it to justify keeping it. I could definitely wear it to work, but I honestly don’t dress up that much for my day to day work, and I don’t really have any events coming up where I’d even need anything like it.
I hate to say goodbye to it, but ultimately, I just don’t think it’d be worth the investment. So, I think it’s going to be a return.
So there’s a look at my recent fix! Feel free to check out any of my previous fixes, in case you’re new to the service and want to see what other kinds of styles they have to offer. As of right now, I’m thinking I’ll keep the white jeans, the cuff bracelet, and possibly the floral top…what do you guys think?
