Sooo, in short, I’ve been a pretty boring blogger this weekend!
Sorry guys!
I’ve really had no fun or interesting meals, and have been very lazy when it comes to the camera. For example, last night Jay and I headed out to our friend Josh’s 30th Birthday Party, and the only picture I took was of my food.
I guess you could say it was definitely one of those “you know you’re a food blogger when…” moments. Hey, it happens…but even though I don’t have pictures to prove it, we definitely had a blast last night!

This morning, I woke up feeling a little lazy and even debated skipping a workout all together. However, I knew the pros totally outweighed the cons, so I sucked it up, changed into my workout gear and got to work.
Unfortunately, I missed my Sunday morning BodyPump class (BOO), so I had to go with Plan B. After yesterday’s run, I started experiencing a little hip pain that tends to come and go for me, so I nixed the treadmill in favor of Jillian Michael’s No More Trouble Zones off of Exercise on Demand.
This 50-minute workout is no joke! It consists of,
- 5 Min – Warm Up – light cardio and dynamic stretching
- 40 Min – Trouble Zone Circuit: Broken into 7, 6-minute circuits, targeting shoulders, chest, arms, abs, back, legs, hips, and glutes.
- 5 Min – Cool Down
I felt GREAT after finishing this video up! I had thought I’ve tried this one out before, but there were parts that definitely seemed new. Perhaps I’m losing it?

Now I’m sipping on a mug of coffee,
and about to go get ready to meet up with Jen for a brunch date at my favorite Flavour Café. Last week, I bought a couple Groupons for here and they’ve been burnin’ a hole in pocket!

Ohhh yes, and just to fill everyone in on what I was really talking about yesterday…
My best friend, Heather, is going to be a mommy!!! AHHH!
As soon as we arrived yesterday, she greeted me with pictures of her latest sonogram and I nearly jumped out of my seat. I definitely made a bit of a fool of myself by screaming a few “Oh my god’s!” and “Ahhh, I’m so happy for youuuuu’s!” in the middle of the bustling Starbucks.
I honestly couldn’t be happier for her and her husband and wish them the absolute best. Congratulations you two!!! Now perhaps you now what I mean when I said, I just can’t get over how much times are a-changin’!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far!
