As I sit down on Sunday evening to type up this post, I am pretty wiped. Although we still have tomorrow before our weekend is complete, it has certainly been a busy one so far.
So since I have a feeling I’m going to be sitting here snoozing not far from now, I thought I’d give you all a little recap of our weekend so far, one sentence and picture at a time.
Thank goodness for awesome friends who are willing to give up their Saturday mornings (and some afternoons) to help us move.
We had donuts and coffee for the helpers…and you know I totally had a blueberry cake donut.
Turns out Lucas also likes “nonuts,” as well as bouncing around on couches with no cushions.
The boys worked incredibly hard, so they took a breather to hang out with the little supervisor.
Once the moving was over and Lucas was still napping, I took a break for a little workout (a variation of this circuit workout…one of my favorites!), and it felt good after having taken the previous three days off.
We packed up our kitchen table so our current dining situation is super fancy, thanks to some folding chairs and a set of old TV trays that used to be my grandparents’.
Super thankful for my mom bringing over a container of her homemade sauce so we could have pasta for dinner. And wine. And…toddler toes.
Snuggles on the couch from Cody, who definitely knows something is up…poor guy, I don’t even want to think about leaving him in a few days.
Lazy Sunday morning selfies in bed (of course, after Chatty McChatterson was done making his noise in his crib).
Awesome 10lb Slimdown Extreme Total Body workout during naptime in my latest Fabletics gear (how adorable is this outfit?!)
A beautiful Sunday afternoon spent at Saratoga Lake with Jay’s family and some of our favorite cousins.
My whole heart.
It wouldn’t be a Memorial Day BBQ without lots of (unpictured) snacks and awesome food.
And that’s a wrap! Time for me to grab a snack and them I’m heading to bed shortly after that because, well, chasing a toddler around outside all day tends to leave ya wiped.
I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day holiday —- a huge shout out to all of our service men and women out there. Thank you so, so much for all that you do for us and our country. <3
