The Great Fundraising Act

By Courtney 3 Comments

Who’s Ready To Get Their Bid On?

Remember a while back when I mentioned The Great Fundraising Act? Well in case you missed it, Susan, a blogging friend, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Hundreds have since joined together in a huge effort to raise money for her medical expenses. If you’d like to read more about her story on her blog, you can click here.

Well, today is the day for The Great Fundraising Act!

From 8:00 AM (EST) to 11:00 PM (EST) the online blogger auction and bake sale will be taking place.

Part One: Blogger Live Auction & Bake Sale

To see a list of the blogger baked goods that are available, click on the link below:

The Auction (<—click here!)

Amongst the hundreds of items up for bid, I have donated a batch of my Crackled Sugar Cookies + a $25.00 gift card to Outback Steakhouse (<—direct link) which you’ll have a chance to bid on .

If there was ever a time to want to try out a batch of cookies from yours truly, now is the time!

In addition to some amazing baked goods, several companies have generously offered amazing gift baskets and packages up for bid. Here’s just a few of these blogger-favorite companies are:

  • Annie’s
  • Bob’s Red Mill
  • Chobani
  • Larabar
  • Love Grown Foods
  • NuNaturals
  • Peanut Butter & Co
  • Physique57

Part Two: Direct Monetary Donations

The second part of The Great Fundraising Act is for those who would like to make a monetary donation. Many have expressed interest, so a direct donation account has been set up.

You can use PayPal, a bank account or any major credit card to donate to The Great Fundraising Act, simply by clicking below.

***All proceeds from the auction will go directly to Susan***

I know I’ve said it before, but there really aren’t enough words to express just how wonderful this blogging community can be. I am still completely blown away by the overwhelming response of love and support that has come pouring in for Susan.

I have high hopes for the outcome of today’s fundraiser, and am really looking forward to getting my own bid on! Hopefully, you’ll all join me!?
