Unreal

By Courtney 24 Comments

Such a nice Sunday happening over here today…a little pampering, a little cuteness, and a lot of delicious food!

The deliciousness started out this morning with breakfast.

IMG_2806

We still have some marbled rye bread leftover from our turkey reubens on Friday night, so we put it to use this morning by making some killer egg sandwiches. It was a joint effort – Jay cooked the eggs while I took care of prepping the bread and cooking the turkey bacon.

IMG_2807

My sandwich was filled with one fried egg, a slice of provolone cheese, turkey bacon, and raspberry jam. It was seriously incredible.

IMG_2811

And filling, too! That bad boy held me over a good four hours, which is when I decided to make myself a light lunch.

IMG_2812

So fresh and bright! I combined a plain Chobani with some fresh strawberries and raspberries, Kashi Go Lean, Special K Protein Plus, and a sprinkling of Love Grown Foods granola.

IMG_2814

After lunch, I headed out to take care of the weekly grocery stop but ended up making a quick pit stop on the way there…

IMG_2833

…for a nice little pedicure. The place I go to only charges $20.00, they do a great job, and with all this warm weather happening, that means the tootsies need to attempt to look somewhat not atrocious (I hate feet, especially mine). I went with a color from the new OPI Holland Collection, “I Don’t Give A Rotterdam,” and I love it.

The afternoon also consisted of spending some quality time with the Codester.

IMG_2819

I think he must have missed having us around yesterday because he was quite the little cuddle bug today. Such a cutie.

IMG_2818

And then, at the end of this wonderful day, this glorious meal happened.

IMG_2821

I seriously cannot wait to share these with you because they were UNREAL. I’d do it now, but I have a Redbox movie and an impatient hubby waiting for me. Be on the lookout for the details tomorrow morning!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Smile

All of your eats look delicious. Can't wait for that recipe!! Seeing pics of Cody makes me miss Zoey! I'm in Florida visiting Chris and had to leave her for a week for the first time! I know she'll be okay since I have someone coming to feed and check on her everyday, but I still miss her. It's amazing how much we can love our animals isn't it? :)

I don't know if you're still following your Plan or not but I have to say, your meals look amazing! And not to mention the fact that you seem to know how to stay healthy while also having a good time with friends :)

I love how your cat "stalks" you. My cat does the same thing except he is all black and it's usually at night where you catch here just creeping' on ya! Glad to know I'm not the only one with a strange kitty cat!

That looks AMAZING!!! And I swear my cats do the same thing... OR, they get mad at me when I'm not home for long periods of time and ignore me. They're smarter than they look those cats...

Please tell me your dinner (which looks great) involves canned pumpkin- I'm on the lookout for a savory recipe to use up the opened can in my fridge before it goes off on me! That polish color is hilarious- whenever I come across Essie nail polishes, I spend more time laughing at the names rather than looking at the actual color!
