Cookies & Cream Cake Mix Cookie Bars

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 2 cups approx. 12 crushed Oreos (or whatever mix-ins youâ??d like: chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, etc.)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Oreo Buttercream Frosting Basic Vanilla Buttercream + approx. 10 crushed Oreos, see below

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9Ã?13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in water and egg, then stir in cake mix.
  • Add your mix-ins, and spread mixture into bottom of pan.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely before frosting and cutting. ENJOY!
