Happy Mother’s Day to the Best Mom Ever!!
Dinner at Mom & Dad’s first started out with the good stuff…presents!!
Mom seemed to like her new goodies from me.
I bought Mom a wristlet and a sunglasses case in the new “Night and Day” pattern of Vera Bradley. Mom and I are both huge fans of Vera Bradley, and we both love the black+white combo, so when I saw this pattern I knew it was perfect.
I also found the BEST card for my mom…how funny is this cover??
Dinner tonight was another yummy spread! Mom made her famous homemade scalloped potatoes, which are the only scalloped potatoes I will eat. So cheesy!
They got the grill fired up and cooked some delicious Italian marinated chicken and sirloin steaks.
Mom also made some pasta salad, & one of my grandma’s made homemade cole slaw which was delish. She puts pineapple chunks in it, which give it a really nice, unique, sweet flavor.
Here’s my plate! A little bit of (mostly) everything.
Then I had to finish up with some of mom’s pasta salad. So yummy! She wanted to clarify that she ran our of tri-colored pasta, which is why the random zitis are mixed in.
Shortly after dinner, it was time for the sweet treats…
I had one of the chocolate chip cookies, which was totally scrumptious! I <3 Bella Napoli!! I also had a mini funfetti brownie which my mom had baked, but I forgot to snap a photo! Oops! But I promise, they looked and tasted fab.
Dad was certainly enjoying his beloved fudge fancies!
In honor of Mother’s Day, I will leave you with a little Mother+Daughter photo montage!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
