Was It YOU??

by Courtney on January 21, 2011

Let me tell you…last night’s massage was wonderful! I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterward. I had actually planned on coming home and heading to bed shortly after, however that darn Jersey Shore sucked me in and I ended up watching that until 11pm. Did anyone else watch last night??

Pauly D and Vinny seriously crack me up. Hilarious!! Open-mouthed smile

So it’s no surprise that I almost didn’t hear my phone ringing bright and early at 5:30 this morning…

Another 2 Hour Delay for school! I really love the fact that I only worked one full day this entire week. I love that a lot. But I am pretty over all this snow…it’s really starting to pile up out there!

So I slept in for a little bit and then used my extra time for a kick-butt workout: Rock Hard Total Body Workout from Exercise on Demand. It’d been a while since I’d done this one…and I could easily tell. WOW!

Breakfast

I also took advantage of my extra morning time to prep some more PB&J oats.

Since I ran out of cookies to top it with this time, I subbed in some granola instead. Still just as tasty…and possibly a little healthier. Winking smile

They’re just so darn tasty!!

On my way into work, I stopped for a big ‘ol coffee from DD’s, BUT…

I jazzed it up a bit by adding in a packet of sugar-free hot cocoa mix. I used to do this quite often, and I don’t know why I ever stopped. It’s amazing. You must try it. Like, now. Winking smile

Lunch

Sorry guys, we have a repeat offender here today. And by repeat, I mean repeated exactly

So let’s recycle some photos from yesterday, shall we?

The only difference today included an amazing butterscotch rice krispie treat that one of my students brought in for her birthday. Soooo good.

Tonight Jay and I have a party to attend for his work, which actually happens to be at a hotel right down the road from our house. I’m really looking forward to tonight, since most of his co-workers are absolutely hilarious! It’s sure to be a good time! Smile

BUT, before I go….

Thanks so much to everyone who entered my Multigrain Cheerios Prize Pack Giveaway. There were some really great entries, and I so wish that I could have chosen ALL of you to be winners!

The lucky winner is…

Alrighty guys, I’m off to par-tay! Hope you all had a great week and are doing something fun to start your weekend off right! Open-mouthed smile

Here it is brown and disgusting melted snow :P. I’d prefer lots of beautiful white snow ;).

I did that same workout a few days ago…it kicked my butt! Jake’s voice is nearly identical to my nutrition professor’s last semester, which somehow made the workout slightly more enjoyable. ;)

I would definitely the delays and snow days – but not so much the snow! That’s the one thing that I don’t miss about Nebraska now that I’m here in Cali! Enjoy your weekend!! :)

It makes me always laugh that people who live in the states get snow days when it snows heavily, whereas in Canada where I live, snow days rarely (if ever!) happen. We got over 45 centimeters in the last 2 weeks… insanity!

I really hope this doesnt come across as rude at all… because thats not my intention! :) I love your blog & mean no harm!

The PB & J oats look amazing – I have never tried that before! And I’m so jealous of your massage – I need one so bad!

I could not stop laughing when Pauly & Vinny were pretending that they would write an anonymous letter when Deanna was in the hot tub with “Ronnie.” SO funny! That show is such a guilty pleasure! Enjoy your weekend!

We had rain down here in FL and it looks like it might start again today! My weekend started off with a date night with my husband! We’ve had houseguests living with us for the past week and a half so it was nice to finally get some alone time!
