Carba Nada, I Love You

By Courtney 21 Comments

“Are ya ready for some footballlll,

A Monday night partayyyy…”

I don’t know about you, but I’M READY for some Monday Night Football…especially because my JETS are playing!

Hopefully my boy Mark comes through for me tonight. :)

In order to make sure we were ready for the start of the game, dinner had to be a quick one…and it was all ready in less than 15 minutes. Love it!

I had my first encounter with the Carba Nada pasta that I picked up over the weekend, and I must say…I think I’m hooked! This stuff is just like the real deal. If only the price tag was little more “real” for my budget.

I topped my noodles with some microwave-steamed broccoli, a sprinkle of parmesan cheese, and some Newman’s Own Marinara. Behind my mom’s homemade sauce, this one’s definitely my favorite. ‘Twas a delicious bowl. :-P

I also enjoyed devoured a piece of homemade Dill Wheat bread (with a little I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Light) that Kate graciously offered to me yesterday. Kate has a bread machine…I’m jealous. ‘Nuff said.

Time to go get ready… J-E-T-S Jets, Jets, Jets! :-D

Question for the Night:

Have you ever been to a professional sports game?

I sure have! And Jay and I are headed down to watch our Jets play again this year with our friends Joe & Kate…in December! I’m already stocking up on hand and foot warmers…

I really want to try the Carba Nada but I never see it anywhere! I used to work for MSG, so I have been to a bunch of Rangers hockey games. Never a pro football game though! Omggg, you are gonna freeze down there in December. But I've heard the new stadium is very nice!

I've been to a Saints game and this year Texans pre-season game. We're going to New Orleans for the Saints vs. Steelers game (hoping game ticket prices come down, but plane is booked!)
