5 Dessert Recipes to Make this Memorial Day Weekend

By Courtney 6 Comments

With the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend ahead of us, I’m sure many of you will have some sort of event/party/gathering to attend. Even if you don’t have an actual party to head to, there’s still a perfect excuse to whip up a yummy dessert to enjoy at home!

So either way, today I’ve got five of my favorite dessert recipes that are perfect for any Memorial Day plans you may have. ENJOY! (And bonus points, leave a comment below if you’ve tried any of them before!)

Ooey Gooey Cookies & Cream Ice Cream Cake

I don’t feel there are any other words needed here…

Stars and Stripes Sugar Cookie Cake

Hands down, one of my favorite recipes to make for a patriotic holiday. Not only is it festive, but it’s just. so. good.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches

For my fellow sweet + salty fans, these are for YOU. They’re super quick and easy, minimal ingredients, and they’re delicious.

Easy Lemon Bars

What is it about lemons that just screams spring/summer?

Neapolitan Cupcakes with Ice Cream Frosting

These cupcakes take a little more love and effort to put together, but they have long been one of my most requested cupcake varieties when baking for friends/family/Jay’s coworkers. They’re fun and definitely a crowd pleaser!

What kinds of recipes are YOU planning on making this Memorial Day weekend? Any big plans??

My usual go to is a fruit pizza, but those neapolitan cupcakes are calling my name!

Ooooh those lemon bars look good. I found a recipe for potatoes and veggies in the slow cooker so I am going to try that for a super easy, make-ahead side dish. Possibly a game changer!

I made the stars and stripes sugar cookie cake last 4th of July and it was a hit! I will be making it again this year for sure.
