Four Fun Things (About Me!)

By Courtney 57 Comments

So Ashley recently tagged me to play along in a fun little survey, and since you guys probably already know I’m a sucker for surveys, I most definitely had a play along. Thanks, Ash!

Four names that people call me other than my real name:

  1. Court
  2. Cuppy (this is what I called myself when I was little and couldn’t say Courtney)
  3. Coop
  4. Mama/Mom

IMG_4722Itty bitty Lucas alert!

Four jobs I’ve had:

  1. Cashier at Grand Union (high school)
  2. Worked as an associate at Fashion Bug (high school)
  3. Elementary School Teacher (grades 1, 2, 4, and 5)
  4. Personal Trainer

Four movies I’ve watched more than once:

  1. Airplane
  2. Elf
  3. Love Actually
  4. Wedding Crashers

IMG_6593

Four books I’d recommend:

  1. Gone Girl
  2. Something Borrowed
  3. The Devil Wears Prada
  4. Love the One You’re With

Four places I’ve lived (this one doesn’t get too exciting…)

I’m sort of skipping this one because it can be narrowed down to: my parents’ houses growing up (2 of them), my college dorm room at The College of Saint Rose (2 of them), and my current home. I’m a bit of a homebody.

Four places I’ve been:

  1. St. Lucia (on our honeymoon…take me baaaaack)
  2. Riveria Maya, Mexico (again, take me baaack)
  3. Greenough, Montana (for Glamping!)
  4. Las Vegas

IMG_0336-1IMG_4469

Four places I’d rather be right now:

  1. On a beach
  2. At a resort pool with a swim up bar
  3. Anywhere warm and without snow (boy I have a long winter ahead of me!)
  4. Home…in my PJ’s. Preferably in bed.

icomfort

Four things I don’t eat:

  1. Mushrooms (unless they’re diced/chopped suuuuper, super small)
  2. Olives
  3. Veal
  4. Anything with a spice level about “medium” (<—I’m improving, I used to be strictly mild only!)

Four of my favorite foods:

  1. Ice cream
  2. Cheeseburgers
  3. Pancakes
  4. Pizza

burgerbbq bacon cheeseburger

I sound so healthy, don’t I? Winking smile

Four TV shows I watch:

How do I only choose four? I’m a TV junkie and watch more than that, but 4 of my favorites would have to be:

  1. Nashville
  2. The Blacklist
  3. Modern Family
  4. New Girl

Four things I’m looking forward to this year:

  1. Christmas! Being able to celebrate with family and seeing how Lucas reacts to everything this year since he was so little last year.
  2. Decorating for Christmas (I may do it earlier than normal this year…)
  3. Thanksgiving – and eating all. the. things.
  4. Baking Christmas cookies

IMG_4482

Four things I’m always saying:

  1. Oh, really?
  2. Wherrrrrre’s Lucas??
  3. Where did I put _______? (I’m always misplacing things)
  4. I love you!

The survey is supposed to end with me tagging four people to answer these questions, but I’m always really bad with that, so I’m going to just ask all of you! Pick a category or two from above and share your four answers!

Love Actually is one of my favorite movies along with Clueless, Top Gun and Garden State. I used to despise olives as well until we traveled to Italy and I tasted the most amazing olives ever! Such amazing taste, nothing like what we have here.

Totally didn't know you used to be a teacher, that's so crazy! My top 4 phrases right now are probably: * I'm so wrecked. [That means super tired, just in case it means something else elsewhere?!?] * I'm so excited for Christmas. [For realz so excited!] * I'd love a cup of tea right now. * Sorry I'm late! [Eh yeah working on fixing this...]

We stayed at the Sandals Grand St. Lucian. We kind of wished we had stayed somewhere else, but it was still nice. Depending on the day the Senators office was either super interesting or boring. LOL I wasn't in DC, I was in a regional office, so it wasn't really crazy, but it could get kind of stressful.

I think I've always been that, but I've noticed it's become way worse since becoming a mom. ;) When do you think you'll decorate for Christmas? I'm slowly chipping away at it already.
