1. You guys had some fantastic feedback yesterday for my Stitch Fix post, thank you! By the time I actually published that post yesterday, I had already decided both the cardigan and dress were getting returned, so I’m glad to hear the majority of us were on the same page.
2. Somebody posted a link to this post about Hipster Barbie’s Instagram earlier in the week and it had me laughing out loud. TOO funny – especially in this day and age.
3. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to see if I could find any fun fall décor for the new house. I ended up getting overwhelmed at it all, and also realized I should probably go through the TONS that I already have before I go buying any more. So I only walked away with this cute little pumpkin for $3.00…
But then I started browsing through all of their wall art and before I knew it, I had my arms full with the beginnings of a gallery wall.
Whoops. But let me tell you…I am SO excited to get this all finalized and up on the wall! I still have a few frames I want to swap out of there and add a few more (thanks to some texts with my girls last night who assisted), but I’ll be sure to share with you guys once it’s complete. Hopefully we’ll get it up this weekend!
4. How is it that on the few days that you really have work you need to get done from home, your usual rockstar sleeper decides he wants to skip his afternoon nap?
He thought he was so funny, too. Ohhh, Lucas.
5. I placed an order through iHerb last week and after reading a bunch of the reviews, I purchased a bottle of this Everyday Shea Bubble Bath in Lemon-Lavender for Lucas. WOW, does it smell amazing! Definitely lived up to its reviews.
I also got a new bag of chia seeds (I’ve been out for SO long!) and some Justin’s almond butter (my favorite!). P.S. – for those of you who are new to iHerb, it’s been a favorite site of mine for years now. Tons of great products, super quick shipping (free over $20), and good prices, too. Right now, you can save up to $10 off your first order if you use my code: SAZ564!
6. Cookie bars + bed + Bachelor in Paradise = the highlight of my Monday evening.
Sad thing is, I made a batch of those cookie bars on Sunday night and we now have about 4 left…and Jay and I shared with nobody. Sad? Or…awesome?
7. Toddlers always amaze me. Last night, Lucas was just not havin’ it when it came to dinner. I tried pasta, I tried hot dogs, I tried meatballs…and do you know what the child picked out? Frozen peas and carrots.
We did eventually get him to eat more, but holy cow. Really, peas and carrots?
8. If I were to think of one song that gets stuck in my head at least once every single day lately (besides, you know, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Wheels on the Bus), it’s absolutely this one. Who wants to come learn the dance with me?!“Watch me whip. Watch me nae nae”
9. I’m still going nuts trying to decide on window treatments. Do we go with blinds or shades? I love the look of bamboo shades sometimes, but then I also like the look of the 2” wood blinds, too. This is absolutely one area of the home decorating process that makes me want to drink more than anything else. Someone please, send help!
10. It’s so hard to believe that 14 years have passed since 9/11. “We shall never forget, we shall keep this day, we shall keep the events and the tears in our minds, our memory and our hearts and take them with us as we carry on.” –source unknown
11. It’s currently past my bedtime and I need to make sure I’m up and ready early enough so I can go get myself a snazzy pumpkin coffee or something like that in the morning because it IS Coffee Friday and all (I’ve been so good about bringing my own from home again lately so I’m treating myself!).
Alright my friends, I’m off! I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend, whatever you may be doing! <3 <3

I’m just ordered my first bag of chia seeds since I’ve heard how nutritious they are for you. What are the different ways you use them?
Thanks Courtney! Have a great weekend!

Laughing at your sweet little pumpkin. I get overwhelmed too and then come home with nothing or something random. But I am trying to get a wall display together as well. Love what you picked out!

Have you seen the Lip Sync battle between Jimmy Fallon and Ellen Degeneres? You need to look it up on Youtube. Jimmy can teach you how to nae nae!! It’s hilarious!
Have a fantastic weekend!!

LOL – Hipster Barbie! Thanks for sharing this gem, I now have new entertainment ;)
I applaud Lucas’ tastes – when I was a child I would beg my mom for a cup of frozen peas and corn as a snack… it’s totally normal! hahahaha. Happy Friday!

Ahhh, the window treatment dilemma. I really wanted to do curtains, but the Husband insisted on blinds. So we did Hunter Douglas Silhouettes in our main areas and the 2′ faux white wood in the kids’ areas. I loved how they turned out. I feel like they are very classic and give just the right amount of texture to the room. Best of look – window treatments are such a hard decision!

Enjoy your pumpkin coffee! I am working on two gallery walls, one in our kitchen and one in our bedroom! I’m super excited to see how it turns out!

Home Goods is totally overwhelming too! I end up picking up 50 things, then putting down most once I really think about it. But you’ve reminded me that I need some new fall decor … :) Have a great weekend, Courtney!

Watch Me/Nae Nae is by far the biggest song getting stuck in my head now too! It’s hilarious to try to learn the dance… you have to watch this of Jimmy Fallon. Dying laughing!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkuufRSzQHY

I am loving your gallery wall! I would love to do something similar. Can’t wait to see the finished product:)
I also have a similar little pumpkin… except mine is sparkly:)
Have a great weekend!!

I love the look of my wooden blinds. And I find that they keep the room nice and dark and actually allow me to sleep in on the weekend!! Fridays always call for coffee… and then happy hour :) Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

LOVING your soon-to-be gallery wall look! Can I copy it? ;) I love the idea of a gallery wall, but it totally overwhelms me because I feel like it’s one of those things that needs to be random yet still put together, you know?
Toddlers … I’ve given up on figuring them out! ;)

I used to work at Hobby Lobby in high school and summers during college and I love that store! I went yesterday to Kohl’s and Bed, Bath & Beyond looking for fall decorations (aka props for my blog photos) and was not very happy with what I found. I will definitely have to see if there’s a Hobby Lobby around here, or I guess I could try Michael’s. I don’t know what I was thinking yesterday LOL. And I LOVE your gallery wall. I am thinking about doing something similar very soon!

I love the look of our wooden blinds (actually they are faux wooden blinds that came with the house but same diff), however, they are really hard to clean. No matter how hard I try, they are always dusty. That said, they really lock out any light, which is nice sometimes. We also have a bamboo shade on our back patio door and I really love it. I’m sure the dust settles in there too but I don’t see it and what I don’t know can’t kill me, right?!

I NEED to make it out to Hobby Lobby….well IBbq suppose I dint need to make the 40 min drive, but your wall art has me inspired to get going on some projects I’ve been putting off way too long.
Cookie bars= amazing, especially in bed + bachelor.
Caroline is starting to get picky now. Lately she has been choosing sliced cucumbers, corn on the cob, and bananas over everything else. She is only 9.5 months….I’m sure it just gets worse, right? My good friend T told me her boys went a month only wanting black beans. Say what? I bet those were fun diapers. Oye!!
Hope your weekend has been fantastic and you had some yummy pumpkin things. ?
