Soooo, I recently ordered some new jumpsuits/rompers/whatever you want to call them off of Amazon. I was sooo pumped to have them arrive because, despite the fact that jumpsuits are something that I might consider wearing maybe, oh I don’t know…3-4 times a year (?), I just apparently want the perfect one in a bad way.
I had browsed through Amazon for a while one day, and wound up coming across three different ones that I thought (and hoped!) might be winners. Here’s a look!
Off Shoulder Elastic Waist Beam Foot Jumpsuit
Ordered in black, size Small
I think this was probably the one I was most excited about, just because I could see being able to dress it up with some heels and fun accessories, or down with some cute tennis shoes and a denim jacket.
I really liked being able to style it off the shoulder, although it could easily be worn as more of a boat neck top, too.
The only thing I haven’t been able to get past is how it looks in the waist/crotch area. I feel like it looks sort of weird, and baggy, and sloppy, and I can’t tell if that’s just how it is or if it’s just how it fits ME and it’s not good.
I. Just. Don’t. Know.
As far as sizing, I’d typically feel more comfortable ordering a medium in something like this, but a lot of the reviews recommended ordering down a size if in between, and I’d say that the small likely fit better than the medium would have. I also almost always have trouble finding bottoms/pants that are long enough, and I found the length of these to be perfect.
Blue Striped Sleeveless Waist Belted Jumpsuit
Ordered in blue, size Medium
It was a romper that looked incredibly close to this one that actually prompted my Amazon search in the first place, and I just thought that it had looked so cute/cozy, and perfect for summer.
Unfortunately, this one just didn’t cut it for me. I’d say it was fairly true to size, although the material is very thin, so that’s something to be aware of. It was definitely cozy, and it fit well, but I just could not figure out how to tie the waist to to make it not look weird…
Something that is not new news to me is the fact that I do not have a small waist. I’m not saying that to knock myself, but I really do have a very straight body type, without much definition in the waist.
It’s really not a big deal, but it is something that I’ve found to cause certain looks/fits to be a a little less flattering or awkward, which was definitely the case with this jumpsuit.
URBAN K Racerback Jumpsuit
Ordered in navy, size Small
I became absolutely obsessed with this jumpsuit from the minute I saw it. It had like, a gazillion rave reviews, and I just loved how simple yet fashionable it was.
Yet, I’m still on the fence (!).
The length of the pants is probably best suited for me to wear flats, but I think it could still work with some shorter heels. I do love the look of the top, but if it’s something I were to keep, I’d most definitely have to hem the straps because the top falls down like crazy (we’ll thank my lack of the ladies up on top for that one…).
Many of the reviews recommended sizing down if in between, so I ordered a small for this one as well. I’m not really sure if a medium would fit better, but after looking at some of the reviews with photos and seeing how it fits others, I’m thinking I may try exchanging this one for the next size up to see how it compares.
I will say, shopping on Amazon is becoming quiiiiite fun! Anyone else catch any good finds on there lately?? Feel free to link ’em up below!

You have such great taste Courntey! I really liked the last one on you – to me it looks great. I wore a jumpsuit to a wedding 2 weeks ago but a few of the people ended telling me i was wearing a onesie with no sleeves. I was wondering why i was so cozy and kept falling asleep at the ceremony and reception! Heehaw!

Ok so I am SO picky about jumpsuits/rompers because I do think that they are often unflattering even with the “perfect fit”. However, the last one (Navy) is absolutely stunning on you! It looks classy, elegant and appears to fit well!

I love Amazon for shopping. I ended up buying 11 dresses for a wedding and just shipped back the ones I didn’t love. The free returns is amazing. I actually love the second striped one on you! I think that’s my favorite. Jumpsuits just don’t suit me very well which is a bummer!

Those all look great on you!!!

I LOVE the first one on you! Of course, what really matters is that you feel great in any of these, but I would encourage you to keep the first one.

I love the black one! The navy one is a pretty “fancier” option too haha. I just bought two from Old Navy and was 1 for 2. Rompers/jumpsuits are always risky – usually too baggy in the butt/legs and way too high cut in the crotch for me. Finding one that actually fits feels like a huge victory.

I think they all look great on you!!! I love rompers/jumpsuits but hate wearing them “out” because of having to be practically naked every time you use the bathroom :)

Oh man this post is right up my alley! I’m obsessed with jumpsuits and have yet to find out that isn’t skin tight on me, gives me a massive camel toe or just is flimsy! I actually bought the 2nd one too after seeing AD’s all over FB, damn it, and it was so cheap and thin , such a waste! I think you look knockout in the first one and it does NOT look baggy, maybe it could be a small hem to tighten that area up??? The 3rd one looks amazing too, makes your bootie look ;) You got to feel great too though!!!! Glad you got to be the guinea pig and now I get to go shopping!!!

The navy blue one looks great on you. Frankly you looked good in all of them. It helps to be tall.
