Alright my friends. I have a fun little giveaway for you all today.
Okay, actually, it’s not that little. It’s pretty huge. And there’s not only one winner. There’s ten. And the grand prize winner? Yeah, we’re talking big. Keep on reading to find out the low down!
I was recently introduced to a travel company called The Trip Tribe, an online community where members book the right trips for them, with the right people, based on their social profiles.
Basically, it’s a membership group for people who want to go on amazing, bucket-list type trips all around the world. It’s a way to take part in group travel, without the worry or hassle of whether or not you think you’ll get along with any of the other people you’re traveling with.
They’ve done yachting trips around the Mediterranean and Caribbean; ski and snowboard trips to Park City during the Sundance Film Festival and to Aspen during the Winter X Games; yoga retreats to Central America; and amazing Safaris in Tanzania.
Seriously, how awesome do they sound?!
And another great thing about some of the trips that are currently available is that they’re so health and fitness oriented; everything from WODcations in Cabo & Hawaii, to yoga retreats in places like Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
So how does it work? Well, first things first, it’s free. So no need to worry about membership fees or anything like that. You can sign up via Facebook or email, and then from there, you set up your profile; what’s nice about this is that the profiles and stats allow you to see what you might have in common with other travelers and help you decide whether or not a certain trip is right for you.
(For example…are you looking for a trip for singles or couples? Is your idea of an excursion “sleeping on a beach” or “an expedition to the North Pole?” I’ll take the beach, with my hubby, thankyouverymuch.)
The site lists “live trips,” which can be booked right away, as well as “crave trips.” These trips are in the planning stages but won’t actually happen unless enough members show interest.

For the live trips, you’re provided with tons of information, including pricing, all that’s included for that price, as well as any information on instructors that may be a part of the trip.
From what I’ve seen after navigating and browsing around The Trip Tribe site, it seems like they really do a great job of focusing on the traveler. They want to ensure that you’re going to book a trip that you will not only enjoy, but they’ll match you up with people who are into the same things as you, thus making for a much more fulfilling and fun experience.
