Sears Meet With An Expert {+ Giveaway!}

By Courtney 148 Comments

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Sears and I was provided a gift card to utilize one of their integrated retail services. All opinions, as always, are my own. Thank you all so much for reading and supporting STSL. It means the world to me! xoxo <3

As hard as it is to believe, we’re already about a week into November, which means the holidays are fast approaching!

There are so many things that excite me about the holidays…the cookie baking, the music, the overall warmth and feeling of happiness, and getting to see Lucas’s excitement, to name a few. Ohh, I cannot wait to see how he reacts this year to Santa. If it’s anything like last year…

IMG_8702

Dying. Winking smile

Then of course, with the holidays approaching that also means one big thing. SHOPPING.

As a proud member of the Sears Blogger Squad for well over a year now, I’ve had the opportunity to try out and review many of their integrated retail services.

There’s Reserve It, which you can read all about HERE and HERE.

It’s quick, it’s convenient, and it allows you to shop online without having to fully commit.

Then there’s the In-Vehicle Pick-up, which I’ve easily utilized at least half a dozen times. The convenience is just too perfect NOT to use, especially if you’re in need of something quickly (i.e., not wanting to wait for it to be delivered if you ordered it online). You can read all about my full experience with In-Vehicle Pick-Up HERE and HERE!

IMG_8874

Even better, Sears recently expanded their popular, curbside In-Vehicle Pickup program to include returns and exchanges – making the process more manageable and convenient for members. They understand that buying what you really want should be easy and, really, nobody enjoys having to return or exchange stuff!

The service, available on the Sears or Shop Your Way mobile app, lets members pick up, return or exchange their online purchases for free – guaranteed in five minutes or less – without ever leaving their vehicle.

And now, Sears has a brand new integrated retail service they’re excited to share: Meet With An Expert.

sears expert

For anyone who may be searching for a new appliance (i.e., a washer, refrigerator, dishwasher…you name it), you probably already know that it can get overwhelming. It’s a big decision and there’s usually about 1,001 options to choose from…and this is why I typically defer to Jay, who researches the crap out of everything.

But, that’s also now where the Sears Meet With An Expert service is here to help. They’ll help you compare models, answer questions and give their opinions on particular units, right in the store. Whether you’ve got questions on setting up a new laundry combo or picking out a microwave for the kitchen, you can get easy answers on the items you want by meeting with a knowledgeable associate at Sears.

You can read more about the service at Sears.com/ExpertAdvice and watch a video about it HERE!!

And even better, scheduling is super easy—you pick the time and store.

sears meet with expert

You can access the “Meet With An Expert” service online directly from the appliance you are interested in purchasing.

expert1

Just click the “Meet with an expert” and complete the pop-up form.

expert2

Then a knowledgeable associate from Sears will call you back to confirm an appointment. Once you arrive at your appointment, you can do all the shopping you need with your expert and they’ll stay with you as long as you need…so bring questions! Plus, there’s extra support for if you want to continue your shopping at home with a shopping recap – an email that summarizes information and items discussed with the Sears associate in-store.

I could totally see how this would be majorly beneficial for someone who’s in the market to make a big ticket purchase. Plus, if you’re someone like my husband who spends forever researching things, this type of service will definitely help take over some of the leg work. Which, in turn, just means more time for important things…like family. ;)

So cool!

*******************

Alright, so whoooooo’s got some shopping to do?? Want a little something to get started?

As a thank you for continuing to read this blog, I’m giving away a $50 Sears gift card to a lucky STSL reader!

sears

And to sweeten the deal, Sears is also offering an extra $25 gift card for a second STSL reader!

To enter, just leave a comment on this post saying what you’d want to use your gift card on (Any new appliances needed on the horizon? Would you utilize any of their pickup services?). I’ll choose two random winners on Wednesday, 11/11.

Good Luck, and thank you all for reading. I cannot thank you all enough for being such fabulous readers and I appreciate you all just so freakin’ much! Smile

Oh, gosh, the things we could use either of those gift cards towards! We just bought our first house three months ago. So we are having to buy everything from a lawnmower to replacing the ancient dishwasher. Sears is one of the only two places that carry the dishwasher we want/need!

There’s so much that you need when you buy your first house and boy does a place like Sears come in handy! We need all our basic lawn equipment still :( we’ve put it off because of everything else that has had to be purchased (and still does, sigh). Just have had family fill in for lawn care.

So any and all gift cards of this nature would be oh so amazing and put to so much good use!!
