Whew, I think this post took wayyyy longer to put together than I originally anticipated. BUT, it’s been one that’s been on my “drafts” list for a while, so I’m just happy to have finally taken the time to write it all out!
I think the title speaks for itself, but today I’ve got a nice, full list of ALL of my favorite, everyday health and beauty products. Some of these I’ve probably already shared in the past, and some may be new, but let’s take a look, shall we?
Skin Care
Rodan + Fields Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex and Rodan + Fields Multi-Function Eye Cream – I’ve been using both of these for quite a while now, and I really love the way they help my lovely dark circles and bags appear just a little less rough. Because we all know, some days, mama is just a little extra tired!
Noxzema – I’ve dabbled here and there with a few different cleansers from Beautycounter and IT Cosmetics, but none of them have really given me THAT much of a difference to where I feel like I need to step away from my $3.99 jar of Noxzema. I’ve been using this stuff for as long as I can remember (thanks, mom!) and it just works well for me.
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin – This is another one I can credit my mom for, and one that I’ve been using likely since junior high. I’ve tried out various moisturizers here and there from higher end brands but, again, nothing that “wow’d” me enough to switch from my Olay for less than $10 a pop. As an added bonus, it also has SPF 15.
Makeup
Ohhh, makeup. How I wish I had more time to play around and find new colors and brands that I love! Maybe someday, but for now, I’ve still got a lot of the same favorites that I’ve been using for YEARS. Take, for example, my bronzer and eye shadows, as you can see from this older post with my favorite Sephora products, and many of my others from this older post with my favorite bargain makeup products. And if we REALLY want to go way back in the day, you can see the very first VLOG I took, featuring my makeup routine. That beaut is a good 7+ years old…I was practically a BABY.
I don’t wear all of these things every single day. If I’m sticking with just a few basics on say, a weekend, for example, it would include:
NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna // Make Up Forever Ultra HD Concealer in Y33 OR IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Full Coverage Concealer in Medium // Eyebrow Pencil on the eyebrows
The IT Cosmetics concealer is definitely a heavy, full coverage concealer, so it’s not one that I feel the need to use everyday. The Make Up Forever concealer does a great job at covering the dark circles without feeling too heavy.
If I’m going to work or going out somewhere, then I’ll typically do my full face of makeup, which also includes:
Revlon ColorStay Makeup for Normal/Dry Skin in shade 250 // Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Smog and Sin // CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara in Very Black // Sephora Long Lasting Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in Black // Make Up Forever Blush Powder (I actually have NO idea what shade I use since it doesn’t say it anywhere on the packaging?!)
Hair
If you’re a regular reader, then you likely already know about my love for some certain Monat products, along with a few tried and true others I can’t seem to stray from (ohhh, I love my Kenra 25 super hold finishing spray and aquage uplifting foam!). If you want the details, or need a refresher for the exact list, then check out THIS POST!
I should also add that although this post says these are my ‘daily’ products, I’m nowhere near washing my hair everyday like I used to. These days, I’m usually washing every 1-2 days, sometimes 3 if I’m feeling extra lazy and haven’t gotten too sweaty from a workout. ; )
Health/Wellness/Hygiene
Vital Proteins Collagen – My morning cup of coffee gets 1 scoop every single day. Sometimes 2, but typically 1 (since the stuff ain’t cheap!), and I’ll occasionally add a scoop into a smoothie if I’m making one.
Elderberry Gummies – I’ve gone back and forth with taking elderberry syrup and gummies, and I’ve also changed brands a few different times depending on who has what or what’s on sale. Currently, I’m using this brand of gummies, and I usually take 1-2 per day. They’re actually quite delicious, in my opinion, but I’m also still a sucker for good fruit snacks, too, so there’s that.
Dr. Sheffield’s Naturals toothpaste in Natural Wintergreen. Ever since I was given samples of it to try back in May, I’ve become a big fan. My favorite out of all of them is definitely the Natural Wintergreen.
Primally Pure Lavender Deodorant. I’ve been using this one for a good 4ish(?) months now, and I love it (I’ve even signed up for a subscription for the deodorant now so it will automatically ship!). The scent is super natural and refreshing, I’ve still had really good luck with minimal irritation, and the thing I was most worried about — sweat! — has been a very minimal issue. Actually, I feel like the sweating has actually decreased a bit since I first started using it, which I had read can be very normal, so I’ll take it!
Although I’ve been loving the Lavender scent, Primally Pure JUST launched (as in, yesterday!) a brand NEW Blue Tansy Deodorant. Not only does it apparently smell amazing, but it’s also potent in antioxidants, and contains both skin soothing properties and powerful odor-fighting benefits.
Lucky for you guys, should you want to give their brand NEW scent a try, you can get an extra 10% OFF with my code sweettooth10! I’ve also been hearing RAVE reviews on their Everything Spray, so I just ordered myself a small bottle of that to try as a toner/refreshener/skin soother (I have super sensitive skin!).

Just a friendly reminder to check an app like Think Dirty or the EWG’s Healthy Living app for safer skin care options 😀

Love those apps! I’m definitely a “work in progress,” if you will, and have been trying to make little changes here and there when I can. Some things are just harder to stray from than others!

I lather mayonaisse from hair to toe! The people at the water park don’t appreciate but the flies shore do!

I switched to Primally Pure a year or two ago and am definitely converted! I do get some irritation in the summer months (when I’m sweating more naturally), so I also ordered their talc-free baby powder and dust some on after the deodorant and that helps a ton! Just FYI in case you ever experience that. Also, a tip for the Everything Spray – blot some on a cotton pad and swipe that on your skin, rather than spraying. I find that my skin gets more out of it (and it lasts longer) that way. :)

Oooo, thanks for the tips, Megan!!

Hi! I always think your hair looks amazing so love these posts. I’m just confused – are you using the Monat or the Pura D’or shampoo for hair thinning? I know you mentioned that one awhile back and were going to update in regards to your results. I ordered that about a month ago and so far have been impressed with my “baby hairs” growing instead of just breaking off!

This is useful information. I also try to carefully take care of myself and of course I needed to get rid of stress. For this purpose, I chose pink kush weed. You can see link to find out what kind of mental ailments this effective natural remedy can cure. And I am sure that after getting rid of stress, you will feel like a completely different person.
