Well, here we are. Right at the end of 2014. Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s hard to believe we’ve already got another year in the books…time sure does fly when you’re having fun. Or when you’re just downright busy, right?
I always have a little fun looking back through the posts that took place during 2014, and of course, looking at the ones that wound up being the most popular. Sometimes these results surprise me; other times I’m like, oh yeah, that was a good post!
So I thought I’d share some of my top recipe posts and top general posts from 2014. Funny enough, most of the top recipes for 2014 were actually in the same list from 2013, so this tells me one of two things; either you guys just really like those older recipes, or I just need to start creating some more fun stuff. Let’s stick with the latter…here’s to new recipes in 2015! But for now…
Top 5 Recipe Posts of 2014
#1: Crockpot Stuffed Pepper Soup <—this always makes me laugh because I almost never even posted about this one (hence the crappy iPhone photo!).
#2: Low-Fat Crockpot Veggie Stew <—I need to make this again, stat. SO good. Especially with some warm, crusty bread.
#3: Chewy Chocolate Chip Heath Bar Cookies <—my go-to cookie recipe, without a doubt!
#4: Healthy Chicken Parmesan Burgers <—a household favorite. We occasionally make them into meatballs or mini sliders now, too, which Lucas really enjoys.
#5: Heath Bar Crunch Cookie Bars <—another baked favorite of mine! Typically my go-to when I don’t feel like making cookies…one pan and DONE.
…And 3 more runners-up:
#6: Healthy Taco Salads with Creamy Cilantro Lime Dressing
#7: Apple Cinnamon Raisin Baked Oatmeal
#8: Cinnamon-Sugar Crusted Banana Bread
Lastly, I always have fun checking out what other random posts of mine were popular throughout the year. Here’s a look…
Top 5 Random Posts of 2014
#1: How To Make a Homemade Pumpkin Keg <—this post ended up going viral right before Halloween…I wonder how many people actually made a pumpkin keg this year?!
#2: Our 12 Week Prenatal Appointment <—I was surprised by this one! I suppose maybe I actually have some good SEO attached to that post. Since I’m clearly clueless on that stuff, I have no idea how or why it gets so many hits.
#3: A Fun Bridal Shower Gift Idea <—I actually wind up seeing this post pinned on Pinterest quite often. It was a fun gift to make!
#4: An HA Update & My Realistic Thoughts on Postpartum Weight Loss and Body Image <—many of you weighed in on this post. Love you all! xoxo
#5: When Your Definition of Healthy Changes <—this is my introductory post to my beginning struggles with HA. Re-reading that post occasionally is always a good reminder of how fortunate I am to be where I am right now and to see how far I’ve come.

I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year’s Eve! If you have any plans or are doing any traveling, please be safe out there.
